How do you relax?

STAY HYPED!!!
Say you've had a busy day, had gotten into a fight, or whatever gets you stirred up. What do you usually do to calm yourself down? How do you relax?

For the most part, I will usually either pop in a game and play that for awhile (like I don't do that anyway) or I'll just go to sleep. Sleep is probably the more effective one because I love to sleep and it's an obvious way to relax since it's usually the most relaxed state people get in.

I love to sleep as well. However, if I'm not sleepy then I just lay in bed for hours looking around.

If all I want to do is kill some time, then I'll either watch tv, listen to some music, or go out to play some pool. I find all these activities to be a pleasurable way to spend time without actually doing anything. However, if I'm upset or something then I tend to crank up my radio real loud (either at home or in my car) and basically just cut mental promos venting my frustration. I visualize yelling, screaming, and fighting, but I don't actually do any of those things. It's therapeutic without having any negative consequences such as me getting my ass kicked.

However, there is one thing that I've yet to find a way to relax from, and that'd be suffering an anxiety attack. I could go to the doctor and get a prescription, but I hate taking medication so I don't explore that option. Usually, I just wait for the attack to pass and since I know what triggers the attacks then I go out of my way to avoid those particular situations for as long as possible. However, I still get them (about once or twice a month, give or take). Most times the attacks aren't too bad, and I just feel like I'm going for a job interview (nervous stomach, I may shake my legs, being well aware of my surroundings, etc). However, ever now and then the attacks are so severe that I end up getting sick and vomiting. I really need to find a natural way to relax in these situations without going to a doctor for prescription medication.

Also, I think I may have just shared too much with a group of people that I'm not necessarily all that close with. Hope this doesn't come back to bit me on the ass, but if a certain "movie critic" is reading this then I'm sure I just fed him fuel for his next flame attack. Oh well. :-/

I experience very similiar feelings, but I believe all of mine is attached to social situations. Everything ranging from being in a crowd, to being conversing with a stranger, meeting someone new or someone who has some kind of importance for me, e.t.c..

I usually feel like you said and it's recently reached the feeling sick level, but I also begin to feel irritated about half the time. The irritation happens in crowded areas. That irritation can easily be turned into anger, but nothing ever comes after that (probably because I'm not violent).

So, when you find that non-subscription activity to ease that, be sure to fill me in on it.

I normally relax after people start to hit me and call me by hitting them square in the teeth.
