STAY HYPED!!!
Do you act differently online than you do offline? Are you as eager to discuss various things with people in real life as you are when talking to people in virtual reality? Are you more timid and shy in real life? Do you keep to yourself? How exactly would you compare your online behavior to your offline behavior?

For me, there are a few similarities between my online and offline behavior, but for the most part I'm a (somewhat) different person. I'm still the same cynical, logical asshole in real life. However, I tend to keep mostly to myself and only talk to friends and family. I definitely am not the person to start a conversation with a complete stranger. Also, I am quite argumentative offline, but I tend to pick my battles. I live in the Bible Belt region of the U.S., so I'm surrounded by a lot of people that think differently than I do, especially concerning abortion, gay marriage, and President Bush. However, usually, I tend not to enter conversations about these subjects in real life because most times it ends up being me being the only person arguing my side whereas a group of people argue against my opinion. Also, I suffer from anxiety and tend not to give a damn about anyone so if I'm not with a family member, my girlfriend, or a close friend, then chances are I'm alone whether it's a public setting or private.

On the outside, I'm almost nothing like I am online. On the inside, I'm almost exactly like I am online.

Offline, I'm a lot more quiet than I am online. I am very uncomfortable around people, so I tend to avoid as conversations with random people as much as I can. However, online, while I'm no people person, I am much more comfortable interacting with others and much more willing to meet new people.

I'm also much more willing to confront someone online than I am offline. When logged off, I tend to avoid confrontations of any kind. I'm not one to start anything at all, especially if it's a negative thing. Most of the time, I'll just keep a closed mouth and try to leave it alone, while online I'm much more comfortable and I can express myself easier.

For those who I am comfortable around, I still make the same odd observations, the same odd questions, the crappy jokes, and all that. But I'm still a little more reserved when it comes to opinions than I am online.

Basically, the biggest difference between the online me and the offline me is that offline, I'm always in the shadows and I rarely ever get noticed (even when I want to :-/ ). While online, I'm sometimes all over the place and hard to shut up.

I'm quite a bit different online to offline.

I always seem to get into arguments with people over political issues and leaders. In business studies once, someone at the back mentioned something about the Labor party (our closest equivilent to your democrats) being crap, so I turned around and started crapping on about the liberal party (conversative, right wing party. Definately not liberal in their ideaologies) being a bunch of idiots. If someone goes against my views I'm more then happy to start up an argument with them. I usually never give up either, and it either ends with the other person walking away, or someone else interrupting. Our business studies teacher just sat there laughing his head off, he loved it, he was a great guy.

As for outgoingness, I'm definately up to having a conversation with most people, but unlike most people at school I wouldn't walk up to someone for the sake of starting a conversation. Something I noticed whilst at schoolies (spring break in Australia) was that a few people started talking to girls (I hate the word chicks) for the sake of talking to them. I won't do that, it seems so forced and idiotic so I won't do it. It seems immature for me to bring it up, but it's definately something that pisses me off, and I've ended up being branded shy because of it.

So in that regard I'm not outgoing and unless I have something to ask or say I won't say it, but if I do I'll yell out or yell at someone.

I wouldn't say I'm a hilarious guy, but I do tend to act a bit like Mick Foley, in that my humour revolves around putting myself down, and it works.

So that's me.

I'm pretty much the same, which, given I don't post too much here, doesn't say too much.

I'm basically a very outgoing and easy-going guy. I say what I think etc. and try not to get too pissy about too much. I'll give anything a chance once and talk to pretty much anyone I meet. Think I scared the crap out of a job interview panel the other day because of my inability to shut up...hmm
