Loch Ness Monster is also a good ride. Those interlocking loops are amazing.

My favorite Rollercoaster right now, is probably Medusa. For a coaster its size, and build, it's a very smooth ride.

Roller Coasters make me sick sometimes. Usually, I get dizzy afterwards and puke at the next guy I see.

The only time i've gotten remotely sick over a rollercoaster was Kingda Ka last year, when I had a really bad headache for the week afterwards. The only thing that scared me about that ride, was the fact they had EMT's waiting at the exit.

I just saw Saw for the first time (am I with the times or what!). Everyone said it was suppose to be the greatest horror movie in years. I thought it was an overrated snoozefest. The only good thing about the movie was the way the killer made everyone kill themselves. Other than that, it was predictable and dull.

I think I just noticed why people call me a good writer. I could think of crazy/stupid ideas on the spot, and somehow tie them into something relavent! I have a gift!

I thought all B&M coasters are moronically smooth and flowing like. The difference between their coasters and say, Arrow coasters is that B&M coasters do flow. Arrow ones have the tendancy to take stupid turns in the most stupid of all places.

That sucks jacky, we have a good sum at this place Kings Dominion, I have'nt been there in some time but it was'nt that long ago neither, so I don't think they changed anything, I still have time to go, even though the summer is almost up.

I did once feel sick after eating at burger king and then going on a roller coaster 30 times in a row. It was not a nice feeling.

I then went on the damn pirate ship and let it all out.

Lol, there's actually an advertisement for the flat ride company Fabbri in the Google ads area of this site. It's a bit odd for an amusement manufacturer to be advertising on Google don't you think?

I had a fun chemistry lab today. Titrations = 1337

That's the exact same indicator we used as well. Phenolpthalein [Phee-nol-f-thay-leen]

Hey, Hey Nebba. Could you tell me how the concentration of Hydrogen Peroxide affects the rate of reaction of a potato solution?

Once again, I'm at a loss as to why they're letting 15 year olds play around with hydrogen peroxide and other dangerous chemicals.

I'm guessing that the simple answer would be the obvious answer. An increased concentration means that there's more reactants to play around with, so that things will go faster, or perhaps in a greater quantity. Just the same as if you have lots of wood on a fire, you'll get more ash. If you have more hydrogen peroxide doing whatever it does to the potato (I'm guessing the starch [an enzyme]), then you'll get more of the end result. Whether that's a dead potato, or something else is anyone's guess. If it has an effect on the enzymes activity (if it doesn't destroy it), then it'll be a bit more complex.

We did a nice experiment last semester to investigate the effects of temperature and pH on an enzyme. The point of me bringing that up, is that things generally have an effect on an enzyme so that they create a bell curve. My guess is that if you add hydrogen peroxide to that enzyme, if it helps it then it'lh have a similarly shaped curve. Not enough, and nothing will happen. Too much, and you'll have a dead enzyme.

Tell me the answer when you get it.

Yeah, Arrows really are bad at that. The Scream Machine at SFGA is very intense for a steel looping coaster. It has a steep drop, a sharp turn, right into a double loop. it hurt more than half the coasters in the park. (not as bad as Viper, though) Medusa flows very well. I was just surprised by the design of the ride, with the triple corkscrew, and the hundred foot loop, that it would be that smooth.

They're Gods of the coaster world really. Their creations defy the laws of gravity too. Take a look at this picture of Oblivion at Alton Towers. How the hell is it standing up with the severe lack of supports?!?!?!

I'm a big fan of the flowing B&M designs though. I'll post a picture of the best flowing type design I made in Hyper Rails later. Essentially, when I build a coaster I made sure that it flows nicely.

Edit:

I think it's a sensible, efficient and smooth design. The elements are hard to see. So in order:

Banked drop, cobra roll, loop, immleman, hill, camelback (the bunny hop hill looking thing actually has an inversion at the top), overbanked turn, bunny hop, turn, jojo roll, a turn into a brake run then the station.

You got the answer spot on. That was for coursework. It is like playing Tag/Tig/Tug when you were a kid. 1 person is chasing people and tey me get everyone in say 14mins, then they double the amount of chasers then the time would theoretically half.

The same wih the experiment, the higher the concentration of Hydrogen peroxide the reaction will be quicker. Ask your Teacher if you can try it. It is a nice little experiment and if you give me your E-Mail, I will send you my notes and my investigation.

What the hell do you guys learn overseas? The biggest experiment we did in science last year, was seeing how much energy we could get by putting copper into a lemon!

Alton Towers is amazing... Oblivion is about my 4th best ride there... Though It does actually last a matter of 7 seconds once started, Sucks I know but the thrill is amazing. Nemisis rules.
