Ask your Teacher if you can try it.

University is a little more regulated and stressed for time than high school, so I doubt that I'd be able to walk into the school of chemistry and say "Hey! Let's do this experiment!"

Besides, there are far more exciting ones I'd like to do. An enzyme experiment is usually absurdly boring.

Good point Neb. It is needed for year 10/11 coursework and it is impossible to find help on the net. That completely sucks.

Can someone explain to me why the footballers just stood there looking dumbfounded, while the security who most probably would have been further away had to take action (without padding).

I suppose it could be a financial and legal thing...I suppose.

I don't know. Probably they didn't want to get fired.

Edit: *Fined.

It's pretty clear to me:

When Security does it, it's their job. When players do it, it's assault.

My dream is to run into a wrestling ring, get beaten up by my favourite wrestler and then sue them for all their worth.

Look out HBK!

A new name again....

You should probably pin a "Unbounded Conversation Archives" thread, listing all the names this thread has had (and will have), Neb.

Hmmm, that would have actually been a good idea. Off the top of my head....

The Unbounded Conversation (1000 replies or bust)
The Unbounded Conversation (5000 replies or bust)
The Lounge
The Spam thread [or some variation of that]
The Spambulator (No relation to the prambulator)
The Craphole (name suggested by Dark Loner)
The Matt Manson Memorial Thread
The Conversational Abyss (Does that even make sense?)
The Terrorgraph (spam level: critical)

Anyone got any others they remember?

Please change that name Neb. It is a serious issue over here. There has been a bomb in my local area and it was not good.

But the name is quite good I suppose.

Big freaking woop. There was a holocaust around the 1940's. Am I supposed to ignore that as well?

You know what else is a big issue? The Iraq war. More people died in that, and more people's lives are threatened by it every day than some terror threat that WASN'T EVEN AIMED AT YOUR COUNTRY! (from what I've ascertained). Do you know how many people have died as a result of this?

Zero. Should I refrain from talking about that too?

As Darren said to Stone Sour a few weeks ago. Grow some balls. Sheez.

I have some. But how much of the IRAQ war is in your local area and how many people were killed as a result of the Iraq war in your area whereas thisbomb in my area killed 5 pople and injured a family.

I suppose that goes to show that you're self centered and care only for things that affect you, whereas I can feel, sympathise, believe and act on things that don't directly affect me.

I guess if it's not in your local area it's not your concern. Ignorance is bliss.

I do actually think this can be a great discussion. This is an excerpt from something I wrote elsewhere last month:

"I know, by far, I am not even close to some levels of strees other people have or are currently endouring. But I try not to look to other people and compare. Im currently living my own life, and if I see other people going through worse situations, it doesnt make me happier about my current situation. Say, if my family was causing harm in many different ways, such as blasting the stereo, or doing some inhumane things that even the cops cannot stop, it doesnt make me feel better that someone in Africa is starving to death, or somebody who is grieving. They are two totally different situations. It has absolutely nothing to do with me, unless I was in power to do something about it, or if it was somebody I care for. I can feel for them, but if I cant do anything about it, its hard to grieve for."

Damn Right!!!!!

Really though, that war SHOULD NOT be happening if it were not for Bush and Blair thinking that war solves everything.

They got Saddam, I beleive Bin Laden recorded this crap in advance and killed himself long before this ever happened, AND MY FEINDS DAD IS THERE!!!!! He got shot the other day aswell, my freind is in a bad state and I have to go over to his every day while his mum and sisters are away to keep him from doing anything stupid. This bomb shook everyone up.

But Bush and Blair must be stopped and to stop sending people in. Look at Australia, doing the smart thing and keeping well away. I praise that but I wish the Dicks at No.10 and the White House would stop this.

I didn't realise it was sarcasm. It is pretty hard to detect on the internet sometimes.

Your knowledge of world affairs is comparitable to that of George W Bush's acceptance of the model of evolution. It's worth noting that it is NOT just the UK and the US participating in the Iraq war, but it's a lot more. Australia and Poland have combatants in there, and countries who you wouldn't expect like Japan and minute Pacific islands have sent engineers and delegates there to help out.

As for your first comment, it once again brings up the point that you only care about this stuff because it's right in front of you, what with your friend. I have to search around for news, but I still do look at it because I feel that the knowledge of what is happening around the world is of utmost importance. It prevents me from saying stuff like Australia is not involved with the Iraq war.

Hmmm. The News over here is wrong then. This is really messed up. It said that Australia was not willing to get involved.

Also, what did you expect from a 15 year old grade A Geography student. An Essay on why Bush and Blair are dicks? I may aswell start one now.

You know, if anyone, I should be the one with all of the knowlege on it. Actually, using Fittes as an example, the news can be wrong. You have one source saying one thing about it, than another can say something completely different, canceling the last comment out. I honestly don't feel like searching around for hours at a time, to try to find the news that may be right.

Still to think there are only three nationalities over there, Iraqi, English and American... is a little niave. I know for a fact there are Irish over there and we've been a neutral country forever!
