The Man. Any Questions?
|
That reminds me... I can't get emoticons off Invisionize! I registered at the forum so I could get some of the emoticons (some are very cool), but they never sent my confirmation e-mail! As a result, I'm stuck in "validating" limbo.... |

No. I actually registered a second time, with a different username, password, and e-mail, and I never received THAT one, either! It's okay, though. I've got other sites saved, so it isn't "the only game in town". Oh, yes, no more chopped-off sig! |

Taking this thread back onto the subject of LPS once again... Since The Members' Square had to vote off one of their members, then that team will only have 2 members. I wonder, though I doubt, if 48 has it set up so that each of the other two teams will pick up one member each, thus taking the game to a 2 team set up? What if this same team loses the next round? Then it'll be down to just the one member. That would be a bit unfair to the player, while at the same time it would be too soon for a complete merger. |

Honestly, I don't think WhoseLine considered this all the way through.
If he wants to read this and then pass it off as if it's what he had ben planning all along, here's what could happen: The teams remain the same, and, if Members loses again, they get an automatic tie (since there is only two of them, and neither will vote for himself). Due to the tiebreaker format, that means, if they lose again, one of the winning teams will decide who gets canned. Then, they're down to one. Going a step further, if he doesn't want the teams merging, it could become "total elimination". One guy would be alone on the team, and be forced to complete the rest of the challenges ALONE. If he comes in last at any point, he is wiped out, no voting necessary. Then, the remaining two teams could either battle it out, or go directly into "every man for himself" mode. |

He gets to wear his LPS Champ icon and colors until a new LPS is crowned. Maybe he is just doing all this to stretch the game out as long as he possibly can.

The embarrasing thing is, I thought Staff had lost the challenge, not members!
I think it was because of all the hype around Staff missing "invisionfree" that got me thinking the wrong way. |

The staff would have tied with your team if Cybrus wouldn't have been a bonehead. Stupid Cybrus always putting up the stupid wrong answers.

Wow, I saw Fittes' post, but it didn't really register with me... This thread has well past 5000 replies! Not bad for a "1000 Replies or Bust" thread. |

You can give all the clues in the world and I still wouldn't figure out the song...unless I googled it. |

Yes. Speaking of which, I think the original was much, much, MUCH superior to Adam Sandler's remake. |

Yes, with the Goes to Town in the title. If you saw it, you heard the main cast singing that song. If you want, you can go ahead and just say as much in the game thread, and you can post a song of your own. Or, I could just substitute another song. |

Apparently, Neb never got the memo about how to avoid having the bottom of his sig chopped... I wonder why it does that? It didn't do it with any remotely-hosted images; maybe... I'm going to check something out. |

Really? You're not missing the bottom border of the Mr. Perfect icon? It shows up fine in your profile page, but it gets chopped in your actual posts. D-L saw it too, so it can't be only me who sees it like that. |

Wacky.... Strange happenings are afoot at 6SW.... By the way, WhoseLine's probably going to want to strangle you for picking orange for your border.

I picked orange as a mod colour way before he picked it as his EFAW colour. In fact, I've had it in my name every week since I originally picked it, so I should be strangling him. Where is he anyway. |

Ah, I didn't notice that it was yours. I thought it was Kametsou, for some reason (he and WhoseLine are "default red" until they choose colors). I'll change the WWE one to orange right now... EDIT - ...done. |

Nah, I won't. I guess we're even, now, though.
According to your post, you posted at 7:32 am, which meant that my class started 2 minutes before. So basically, you were a half hour off, as I was already in school. |

I cannot believe it. I simply cannot believe I'm about to say what I'm about to say! I actually like a Carrie Underwood song! I've hated her first two songs "Jesus, Take the Wheel" and "Don't forget to remember me". I've said she was nothing more than an overrated pop artists pretending to be country. But her new song "Before he cheats" is great. I have mixed emotions about her now.
