It's a fabulous new day, yes it is!
|
I'm not a fan of seeing death people... I would consider it more like seeing it as some event from the past rather than the way you're pointing it out. That doesn't mean I'm screwed up in the head. |

You said: I visit rotten.com out of curiosity I watched the Owen Hart death video (or whatever) out of curiosity. How is visiting rotten.com out of curiosity not morbid and a little bit sick? Even if I did use images in my presentation, it wasn't clear cut video of someones intestines hanging out, they were pictures of people lying face down on the beach. It's nothing compared to rotten.com or seeing a video of some guy falling onto a turnbuckle. |

I said the rotten.com thing was only a two-time deal. What I meant by seeing it was just to see what was the deal with it since I've heard people talking about it. I already know the stuff there is gross and morbid (my last exposure to rotten.com was from some idiot from another forum that I go to who used to post that kind of stuff). I don't know if mentioning this would be necessary, but 2 years ago due to the career I persue (Pharmacy), I've took an General Anatomy course. At first, I got grossed out by the corpses and having to practice with them, but I got used to it kinda quick, just having the smell of Formaldehyde bothering me at times. Maybe I kinda grew up being a bit more tolerant to corpses and gross stuff. Although, I feel like all of you might think I'm more than insane. |

I get to cut up corpses next year, as part of an anatomy subject. But still, there's a huge difference between dissection for education, and looking at some dead solider with half his skull missing out of "curiosity". |

It is'nt pretty, I've seen family members in caskets but I don't think I've ever came across an actual dead body. Although when I was a kid, me and some friends watched the move Stand By Me and set out to do the same thing around here in the woods, but we did'nt find anything except dead animals. |

I'm an Atheist. You all know this, right? A few moments ago, I had a few bible-thumpers come to my door discussing the bible and all the goobidy-gook found within. Usually, I am quick to run the thumpers away. But today I was greeted by a sweet old black woman and I found myself being unable to do anything but nod and smile. So for 15 minutes, I sat there listening about how we should be selective about what we watch on TV, how we shouldn't watch too much TV, and how the bible says all that is true. Scripture after scripture, nod after nod, smile after smile. I want those minutes back! |

Calm down Cy, breathe in, breathe out, here let me sing you a song. Breathe, breathe in the air Don't be afraid to care Leave but don't leave me Look around and chose your own ground For long you live and high you fly And smiles you'll give and tears you'll cry And all you touch and all you see Is all your life will ever be Run, run rabbit run Dig that hole, forget the sun, And when at last the work is done Don't sit down it's time to dig another one For long you live and high you fly But only if you ride the tide And balanced on the biggest wave You race toward an early grave. |
