I found out something really cool today. As some may know, Jay Lethal is from my Hometown of Elizabeth, New Jersey, but what I did't know, was how close I was to him. Apparently, after a conversation about how some students started mocking Mick Foley, my Chemistry teacher said that he actually taught Jay Lethal, and seemed to be in the "know" about wrestling today.

He said something to the effect of:

"You know, I actually taught a wrestler who currently wrestles on TV right now." Trying to sound smart, I said "Jay Lethal, right?" He said "Yeah. He currently wrestles for TNA; I actually taught him a few years ago, and even back then, he was wrestling in High School." Then he said his real name, in which I forgot.

I thought this was cool, considering he's pretty popular right now.

Sounds like Cybrus has been reading romance novels.

Those are lyrics from the song "Sarah Beth" by Rascal Flatts. The song is about a teenage girl that has cancer and fears that she won't be able to go to her prom because no one wants to dance with a bald girl. It is a very touching song.

I never would have guessed all that from the blurb you posted.

Interestingly enough, and I'm not going to name the person by name, but a 6SW member has a daughter that has cancer and is pretty much living out the song as we speak.

I'm not going to try guessing.

I don't think I've seen anyone here post anything about having kids (only exception: I think Stone Sour mentioned having some) at all.

That makes me think of another question: How many 6SW members have children, period? It can't be many.

I'm now halfway through The Stand (page 600). It's very good.

For some reason, I have always ducked reading it, while reading damn near every other book by King.

Well, they're freed up now, so you can take them if you want them (you'll have to do a little searching in their thread for them).

Meh. What I want to know, is why you'd bother to mention that type of thing if you know that you're not going to mention anything? Attention?

Ah, I see. Could be that MY85 said he might know who has kids, but didn't name names.

It does seem strange, though. There are a bunch of adults here; you would think there would be several with children.

Meh. It's just that if I were in that position, I wouldn't bother saying anything knowing that I wasn't goint to say anything anyway. If you get what I mean.

Another attempted break-in to my car at Campbelltown Station this afternoon. The friendly roadside assist person hotwired it and taught me a few things until it's back from the repair people with a new ignition switch.

EDIT: I was referring to Cybrus's comment btw.

They smashed up the steering column good though, out of frustration I guess. Heh.

I did actually think about this site at the time for a specific reason. I was thinking what would happen if I stumbled over there and the person was there with a gun? Hmmm.

Since you, as the "law-abiding citizen" of the two, would be holding nothing but your balls, I'd say you would have been on the losing end of the exchange with the criminal.

Unless you know some great combat techniques with the nutsack, that is. I don't know what kind of skills you might have.

Exzachary. But what if I had a gun? Would that warrant using it? Of course not. But I do wonder how many murders occur in those situations. There's a good scene in Reservoid Dogs to illustrate what I'm saying.
