STAY HYPED!!!
|
For several years now, I've been reading people say that watching wrestling shows without visiting the news sites or reading spoilers/rumors through online forums makes the product a lot more exciting. I've been without a computer for three weeks worth of wrestling and I can say I absolutely disagree with that line of thinking. For me, the excitement comes from discussing everything online and from taking the rumors/news that I read online and comparing it to what actually gets shown. The only thing that I can remember from the last three weeks of wrestling is Rated RKO's beat down on DX, which was excellent. Aside from that, everything else has been forgettable and, dare I say, boring. |

The only wrestling show I watched this week was TNA Impact. I didn't care for the 'Tribute to the Troops', so I skipped that. I didn't care for the re-cap shows, so I skipped ECW and SD! TNA has become so rushed that it is almost impossible to watch. |

It's a fabulous new day, yes it is!
|
What happened on TNA this week? Was it a normal episode? 'Cause I've heard they would do a "Best of TNA" episode. Cy, ECW was just a crappy re-cap of the best of 2006, badly done IMO. And as for SD went, the only new thing was Teddy Long's plan for the WHC match at Royal Rumble (Smackdown Sprint). |

TNA was normal this week. Important things to note: TNA publicly admitted to not having a tag division. Team 3D once again was shown as above all else by going over LAX in an impromptu brawl. Angle got his rematch against Joe by putting the ankle lock on a woman no one has ever even seen or heard of before this episode. And everything was chopped together in a manner where there was no time for the fans to think about what is going on. Impact, while still entertaining, is just too rushed. |

What I read about that woman was that she was Joe's girlfriend or something of the sort. |

That is what I had assumed when I watched it. However, I still think it was a pretty weak way to set up the third Joe vs Angle match. |

I've read the rumor that TNA is trying to bring in MMA star Bob Sapp to compete with Angle after Angle's feud with Joe ends, but I'd say the chances of that are relatively low. Even though Angle is loved by the TNA fans, he is playing a heel character. The only real main event face, aside from Joe, is Sting. Abyss is showing tweener tendencies, so they could put Angle in a program with him, although I'd rather see Joe moved into the World Title picture. Then again, they could use Angle to elevate someone else up the card (Petey Williams!). |

Nah, Kurt cost JJ the title and that was the last we seen of him. And he will come back and cost Angle his match with Joe. Angle will turn face because the heel thing aint workin out and he will fued with Kurt Angle while Joe goes on to fued with Abyss for the World Title. |

I'm not seeing how that continues the picture story we have going. Thus far, it goes: Maury: You're not the father Eddie: I'm Your Papi! Kurt Angle: It's True! It's True! |
