The Man. Any Questions?
|
Ben-Gay sucks. I had a VERY bad experience with it once when I was a kid. We had all the assorted shit on the bathroom counter, all piled up. I grabbed what I thought was the tube of Anbesol gel. You know how you kind of absently go without really looking at things. Anyway, long story short, the whole left side of my mouth was on FIRE, and I couldn't do a damn thing about it! |

Oooh, bathroom horror stories. I can relate. My story is shaving related. I know most guys use shaving gels when they shave. I do not. I use Aloe Vera lotion. It's clear and unscented, plus, since it's a lotion I don't have to put anything else on my face after I shave. And, since it is a clear lotion, I won't have a giant blob of white stuff on my face if I accidentally miss some when I'm rinsing. It comes in a squeeze bottle that is shaped like various other products in squeeze bottles. Well, I was talking to Michelle while shaving one day. I was more into the conversation than what I was doing. I just grabbed a tube out of the bathroom and walked into the other room to finish my conversation. I squeezed some of the stuff in my hand and started putting it on my face. Michelle started laughing. I couldn't figure out why until I looked down at the tube in my hand. Turns out I didn't grab the Aloe Vera, but instead I grabbed a certain female hygiene product instead. Not a fun shave at all.

I demand to know which feminine hygiene product that was, for a sense of closure. |

Yuck. I guess not.
I use an electric, so I obviously don't need to worry about shaving cream. When I was using razors, though, I used hand lotion, like the Vaseline Intensive Care stuff, that's supposed to be used for healing dry skin. Some may be skeptical, but it works. All shaving gel is, is lubricant so the razor doesn't stick to your skin. With the skin lotion, you get a shave, while keeping the skin on your face from getting all torn up. |

I tried and electric razor, but it didn't shave close enough. Maybe I was using it wrong or maybe I had the settings wrong. All I know was I didn't like the shave. I have used regular lotion to shave when I ran out of Aloe Vera. I use Aloe Vera for lots of things. It's great to shave with. It's great to style your hair with. It's great on burns (and really great on sunburns). It's a great product. I walk down the isle at the store and see hair styling product and shaving gel product and I wonder how many people waste their money on that. Aloe Vera takes care of that an more. |

Well, I'm out of stories about shaving my face. I guess I could venture into male bush territory, but I don't think anyone would want to hear that story...again. |

I do a google search for 'dirty old woman', you know, to make a lame attempt at being funny in relation to the last post, and instead I'm confronted by images of old naked ladies (and some young naked ladies). What a world. Now how many of you, just went and did that google search? Indeed. |

What did you expect to find, with those search terms? Of course you'd get pornographic material. |

No. Instead, lets talk about it for several days after the fact being sure to explain to anyone that wasn't around the intimate details that you claimed were so disgusting at the time.

I'm wondering why more people aren't going "anonymous". I would think it would be a popular function, especially for the no-post spammers lurking about. |

The anonymous club is starting to grow. For a while it was just -O-. Then it was -O- and Dark Loner. Then I joined in on the anonymous posting. Now you've joined in. Since Neb is so vocally against it, we should piss him off by asking as many people as possible to log in anonymously.
Also, speaking of Neb. For a guy that spoke up against a misplaced apostrophe in a smilie, he sure seems to let missing apostrophes slide when they are in his own sig.

Stop reading my posts before I have a chance to proof read it. Sure, I could use the "preview post" option, but that slips my mind too often. To further annoy Neb, maybe we should have an Anonymous day where all members are encouraged to sign in anonymously.

If we add it to the calendar and put a mention of it in our sigs, then maybe we can start a movement. I think people pay attention to stuff in my sig.

I don't know, I'm pretty sure I'm the only one's who's read the Staff Blogs. To log on anonymously, log out, then log back in. When you're at the log in screen, check the "do not add me to active users list", then click "log in". You're all set. |

Thanks, SRP76. Hmmm... once, I was against Hidden status. But sometimes, it just comes in handy. |
