Brain freeze does not affect the brain, I thought that was obvious... Headaches are the pain associated with the inside of the skull. The brain has no feeling (you can try it for yourself) and thus it's the blood vessels, the muscles and bones around the head that ache. It's fairly obvious too, as all the headaches most people have are not in the middle of teh skull, but near the temple or the eye socket. People commonly have brain surgry whilst still awake, simply anaethesised to make them drowsy so they do not become psychotic and scared. There is some medical reason to keep them awake, but go to your nearest biomed library and look at a few brain surgery books. Neb: 1 SS, Fittes: 0 |
