They (climatologists amongst others) believe that one of the ice ages was brought about by the seperation of Australia from Antarctica. When you think about it, when a land mass that size creates a little gap that allows cold water to circulate completely around Antarctica without anything stopping it, things are gonna become cold. Of course, there's no way to prove that. What baffles me even more is why aren't we still in that ice age? Or are we? |

No way man. It can be better then a bunch of head butting, short short wearing douchebags kicking around a doucheball into a net made of douche is much better then a hard hitting smash mouth stratsegic game of football. |

Yeah, because they take timeouts, or if there are calls made by the Refs, they stop the clock. |

Yeah but come on. Where is the enjoyment of a coach challenging a play every 30 seconds, especially on 1st down when it is clear that the ref was right? PFFT. |

Depends on what you're into, but for me Cricket would almost be as exciting as American Football... Why? Both games are played in short bursts, and then there is minutes between each play. At least at a cricket one day game you can bring along a couple of cans and drink yourself into oblivion... and make a day of it. |

I just don't get what's so good about football. Is it the 60 yards or the Red Card by the referee? I just don't get it |

It's the halftime shows I reckon. I used to like basketball for the hotdogs. We had season tickets, and by God I went there for those hotdogs. I'd crave them once I got there and would rush out during half time to get one of those dogs. A big fat sausage, a bit of sauce and a whole lot of mozzarella cheese on top made the perfect dog.\ Pity I don't eat beef now. |

Did someone say Soccer/footbal is non stop "action" Ok myabe non stop. But action it is not. And football doesnt have the coaches challenging every 30 seconds. There alloud 2 challenges a game. There is only 1 game in the entire world that actually delivers non stop, back and forth ACTION. And that game my friends, is the game of Hockey. |

Hockey- One of the worst sports ever. As for Soccer, I think it's boring, but since most of the world disagrees with me on this, then my opinion is void and meaningless.

You're opinion is valid but I'm one of the few people who think there is a real skill to some elements of football. Gaelic Hurling is the greatest sport of all time, it's physical, there is no padding, and it's fast paced, it's like hockey but you can erm pick up the ball.. None of you have ever heard of it I assume |
