Ay you I'm homicidal, and an American idol, wrapped in a doobie, a Ruby, saphire, platnum and gold, I got it on my neckless if it can be sold, I'm like Santa fucking claus, I can rap and wrap, okay that was corny, but I'm so horny, I could fuck a goat, stick my dick down her throat, just like your momma, she'd suck my cock, then I looked at the clock, and it had been an hour, stick my dick up and it looks like a tower, I would fuck your mom harder, but her pussy tastes sour! How was that!?! :feedback: |

That was exactly how a rap sound sounds! Usless rhymes, annoying beats, and many refrences to some kinds of meats. |

The rap was shit. Not because of the rhymes. Just because rap IS shit. There isnt anything we can do about. It isnt music. Not today's rap anyway. |

Well that's what rappers mostly do like Nelly, Snoop, and Eminem. Vanilla Ice was the only rapper who was light with the swears. |

Actually, there have been tons of rappers light on the swears (Fresh Prince/Will Smith anyone?) - it's just that it's been a very long time since the family friendly rap was popular. Still, Pimp Lad, your stuff reads like the generic crunk crap rap that won't leave the airwaves fast enough. It's just bragging and insults. Not enough depth. |

When I listened to rap, it actually was uplifting, actual rappers like Run Dmc, Heavy D, Eric B and Rakim just to name a few, the crap that's out today is pure bullshit and what's sad is people buy in to that ignorant type of music. Useless rymes with ignorant lyrics is not rap, it's fucking stupid. Live and Let Die all the nonesense that comes about All the ignorance in the world just makes me wanna shout Screaming at the top of my lungs The shit you hear on the radio is just plain dumb Dumb as a fucking girl, claiming to be something they are not Stop making up stupid ass lyrics and grab yourself a shot Of Jager, Crown, or even Jack Fuck this rap shit, it's just plain wack Dealing with with fake bitches, you know they're around Yet they try to play you as if you were a clown I don't fall for that, as I don't lay down for no one When I talk about things it's all outta fun When the fun ends and my last nerve hits You better get ready, cause I'll split your shit Call me what you want but never address me as a hoe You can call me TheObserver or you can simply call me -O- There, I just came up with that off the top of my head, it's not much but atleast it made sense....I guess.

STAY HYPED!!!
|
I did, but I let it slide since: 1.) It is the first time I've seen him curse so much, and it was in a rap of all things. 2.) He was already getting harsh reviews and I really didn't feel like thowing more dirt in his face. 3.) My internet died while I was online yesterday and I forgot about this thread when I got my connection back. 4.) I'm really rather lazy. |

Yeah, listen to A rock song once in awhile: Purple Haze was in my brain, lately things don't seem the same, actin' funny but I don't know why 'scuse me while I kiss the sky. Purple Haze all around, don't know if I'm coming up or down. Am I happy or in misery? Whatever it is, that girl put a spell on me. Purple Haze was in my eyes, don't know if it's day or night, you've got me blowing, blowing my mind is it tomorrow or just the end of time? Do you see useless rhymes and annoying beats? Oh...wait...never mind...

I listen to all music, Rap, country, rock, alternative whatever. I find the funny part of this discussion about rap being crap, is basically the same arguments that parents made against rock in the 50's and 60's. That's not real music etc . Every couple of generations, the "new" music is hated by the people that listen to the "good stuff". |

You can't replace groups like Lynard Skynyrd, Led Zepplin, The Doors, Steve Miller Band, Journey (even though they have a different singer now), Queen, The Who, or even ones like Bob Segar, Van Morrison, Pink Floyd, I think the whole argument here is saying that the newer type of rap is the same sounding and has be copied many times while being replace by some really bad artists as for the stuff from the "Classic Rock" era, you just can't replace bands/artists like that and it still sounds good today. I can go on and on about what sounds good and I think does'nt but just like anything else, it's all on what you prefer listening to or watching, dealing with etc, some just know that certain things are timeless so to speak as for others are just carbon copies of one another and become coporate whores. |

Well, my point pretty much was that back then in the 60's, 70's, etc., there was actually credibility to the music. Today, there's just banging, shouting "Yo!" and making three minute rhymes with some cheap-ass background beats. Now, if the "Rhyme" is actually is good, I don't mind, but today, it's absolute crap. I went to the store I picked up a whore we f*cked all night she left affter we got into a fight It's just useless. |

This is basically a music discussion! I'll hold off moving it though, I don't want to seem like an ass. I enjoy all sorts of music, but if I like a particular sort I'll get it and it'll become my favourite song. Big Time, Kurt Angle's song, 5 O'Clock World and Beethoven's 9th are all favouritesd of mine now. |

He he, I thought about moving it to Neb, but I think this was mentioned to see how much it would get others to react, and if it got to them that it would outrage them so much that it has to be put into the Thunderdome. But if you want to move it, then it's all on you Neb or I will if there is more people giving reason behind why they like it, hate it, or whatever. Everyone seems to have let their thoughts out on though. |

Big Time, the Peter Gabriel song is allright, but I like Big Time, the Soundtrack of Our Lives song (WrestleMania 21 theme) better. 5 O' Clock World, since hearing it from as the theme of the Drew Carey Show, has became a favorite of mine. |
