How to spot Myspace Phonies.

When you are not sure about real Celebs on myspace use these to catch them out.

1. Check the photo's. If there are personal photo's then you can be assured they are real.

2. Send a comment to them "Are you really the real person?" if they are fake they would delete the message.

3. Adding them as friends. The Rock has a friend blocker so if you know his real name or Email adress he will add you. If yu get the answer right they add you but if you know you have the answer right and it says you cannot be such and suches friend well they are phony.

Any other suggestions?

At least Myspace doesn't have much WWE marks like Friendster. There are also online hookers in Friendster. :puke:

Another way of telling is where, such as on the Hardy Show page, they have pictures with the URL showing it is indeed a real myspace.

Who cares? What's behind the desire of adding celebrities to your Myspace whatever anyway?

Kane and The Rock do not have MySpaces. They're fakes. Helms made in clear that the only WWE wrestlers on MySpace (that are real), are the following:

Gregory Helms
Ashley Massaro
John Cena
Rey Mysterio
Justin Roberts
Kristal Marshall
Shannon Moore
Stevie Richards

Some other professional wrestlers on MySpace are:

Blue Meanie
Colt Cabana
CM Punk
A1
Andy Douglas
Alex Shelley
Cassidy Riley
Chase Stevens
Chris Sabin
"Coach" Scott D'Amore
David Young
"Showtime" Eric Young
"Father" James Mitchell
"Cowboy" James Storm
Johnny Devine
Lance Hoyt
Matt Bentley
Petey Williams
Raven
Roderick Strong
Rudy Charles
Samoa Joe
Leyla Milani
SoCal Val
Sonjay Dutt

Probably. I usually don't believe in adding celebrities in those online friends websites like Hi5 or friendster. Myspace is no different.

There are marks everywhere in those sites.

I am Godzilla, you are Japan.
Most of the more famous bands use their street teams to run their myspace profiles for them. So it may indeed be a genuine profile for the MurderDolls SS, but there's little to no chance it's actually a member of the band commenting you.

As for the personal picture comment Fittes made, what's to stop anyone from acquirign a few personal pictures of wrestlers from around the net and putting them onto a myspace profile?
We all know there are any number of personal photos for various superstars going around. It's not hard to find them.
So just because they have "personal" photos on their profile doesn't mean that it is a genuine account.

The same goes for celebrities as goes for bands too, if the account is genuine you can almost bet your life that it's a street team member or someone of the equivalent running the page for the celebrity.

Totllaly a good point matey... i had this chat the other day with someone and i also stated just becuase there are personal photoshots of the "official" band profile, its a roadie a scout a freind to the band/manager etc... someone who can pass on fan e-mail and comments.

I think it was Sherrie Moon Zombie's profile... it is actually her personal freind accessing the account and she passes coments on and that sorta stuff, also if ya wanna get in touch or pass anything over to Rob Zombie do it on there, i hear its a shared account.

I just added "Pam" from The Office to my profile. I don't mind adding celebrities to my profile, as long as I know they're real.
