Bill Goldberg confirmed in an email to members of his official Team Goldberg fan club on his official website that he has signed a 90-day holding-deal with Spike TV and is meeting with executives from the network next week.

The former WCW/WWE World Champion wrote the following: "The holding-deal definitely means that I now will talk with TNA Wrestling, but nothing further than that,"

He also confirmed that he was scheduled to wrestle for Gladiator Championship Wrestling on August 20th, but will have to cancel the appearance due to the new holding-deal with Spike TV.

Goldberg in TNA? This is the first time I felt a mixture of pity and indigestion.

Goldberg didn't catch up with the fans in the WWE, what makes TNA sure that he will catch with the TNA fans?

Haha give him a 50 match losing streak and then maybe just maybe the fans might forgive him for his horrid squash matches in WcW

STAY HYPED!!!
This is just a deal with Spike TV, correct? For all we know, Goldberg may end up working on some other Spike original and not work for TNA. :dunno:

Why can't Goldberg work for TNT (The New Tradition Pro Wrestling)? Orlando Jordan, Heidenreich and the Heart Throbs signed there, why not Goldberg.

Meh, I wouldn't be surpised if he did or didn't go to TNA. Man, I remember when I was the biggest Goldberg mark.
