Sounds like another three average nights of Impact. I'm interested in seeing the Samoa Joe vs. Killings, match... But that's about it. |

What a good show tonight, only two and half matched but still a good show. Naturals vs The Paparrazis, I knew the Naturals were going to lose one of these weeks, they were on a streak for a bit but everything comes to an end sometime, I'm just waiting to see the two turn on Douglas and maybe they can bring in a new team or something, well that's just an idea. I dig the Paparrazis though for some reason. Cage promo was a good one, setting up a match between him and Rhino, it ate up some time but still enjoyable. Abyss's squash match was meh. LAX vs Daniels and Styles, LAX was bound to become tag champs, just would've thought it would've been at a ppv but I was happy to see LAX win, Styles and Daniels are great don't get me wrong but something about me being more into the heels in TNA, I don't know what it is. Or maybe it's a 50/50 thing between the heels and faces. |

I just finished watching it, (I taped it) and I must say it was a great show. I agree totally with --O- on his views, but i'd also like to point out how great James Michell is. The way he told Don West to shut up was hilarious. I can't wait for next week's "10,000 thumbtacks" match. |

One thing I don't get...Christian screwed Sting out of the NWA title. Naturally you would think that would lead to a Sting vs Christian match and free up Jeff Jarrett for a new contender such as Samoa Joe. But, TNA sees this as a chance to pit Christian vs Rhyno? Because they are such best friends? That seems kind of ...wrong to me. I like the heel Christian and think he vs Rhyno will probably be good, but don't really understand the booking. I guess TNA is dead set on having Sting be World Champion. LAX vs Daniels and Styles was Awesome. And, seeing as the Naturals got a set back last night, I expect more in the series of excellent matches. I like the Spike vs Abyss match up. Spike has made a career out of these matches, but adding Raven to the mix could blow up in the face of TNA. I hope they handle it well. Over all a great Impact to me. |

Since more people are discussing TNA shows, then perhaps we'll start posting one show spoiler per thread. ![]() I thought this week's show was once again the best show of the week. I found it more interesting than either of WWE's three brands.
That is odd booking. The Jarrett/Sting re-match isn't booked for 2 more months, so they have plenty of time to get the Sting/Christian match set up for No Surrender. My only guess is that TNA is planning a big feud between these two and doesn't want either to lose to the other just yet. Christian shouldn't lose to a mega-face this soon after his heel turn (especially when the mega-face is his main adversary), while Sting shouldn't lose this close to BFG. I'm probably setting myself up for a disappointment here, but the tag line for BFG is "A new Star is born" or something to that effect. I wouldn't be surprised if BFG has a WM9 type ending where the winner of Sting/Jarrett will automatically have to defend his title (against Joe perhaps?) and lose. |

That's a nice theory Cybrus, but I see a problem with it. If Jeff Jarrett wins and then loses the title to Joe, that will mean that Sting is retired. And, for the second time, will leave TNA for awhile. I don't see a point in that storyline. If Sting wins, I don't see him dropping the belt to Joe afterwards as it would kill the buildup he just got from the Jarrett fued. Sting putting Joe over may be the way that TNA is going to go, but I don't think it will be that night. |

:smack: I keep forgetting about the match stipulations, which is odd because every time I hear them mention the stipulations on screen, then I think to myself "Well, Sting's contract doesn't even expire until December". Yet, almost as soon as I turn TNA off, I forget that. Ok, I think you've killed my little glimmer of hope (murder!), but in an attempt to keep my rationale alive...The Sting/Jarrett match could end with some sort of screwed up ending. Maybe Christian and Steiner interfere against Sting, which then brings out Joe, who had teamed with Sting earlier in the year only to walk out on him after the match. Cornette comes out and nullifies the match (similar to what he did at Slammiversary), and orders some type of title rematch. Since all those guys want to get into each other's business, then they wrestle a 5-way match. Christian (or anyone but Jarrett) pins Sting, which makes the contract stipulation moot, and Joe pins Jarrett to dethrone the evil king. You like that? No? Ok. |

I can't. I have always been a huge fan of the Naturals and think they will soon be the Tag Champions again. |

I wonder who would say something foolish sounding like that? Maybe it's someone who does'nt or have seen what they've done before, or just don't like them cause they are taking orders from Douglas, whatever the case is, they are one of the best in very underrated as a tag team. |

Allright, as for last night's iMPACT!... The good news? I bought more recordable DVDs. The bad news? I forgot to bring the one I recorded to my Uncle's house, so I have to wait until Saturday's replay of it to watch it. Just my luck!

This past Impact wasn't bad. It was a decent show. The highlight of the show was Jarett being booed out of the building again. He had to talk directly to the camera because the "You suck!" chants were so loud lol. |

Maybe it's just me, but the final recording of any Impact taping seems less thrilling than the others. This was no exception. The first and second hours gave us two weeks of great Impact TV. The final hour of recording gave us a week of an average Impact. This one wasn't great, but it wasn't bad. It was just there, really. Abyss needs to stop with the thumbtacks. He's been involved in so many matches with thumbtacks that they don't even have any special meaning anymore. It looks like Petey Williams will be challenging Senshi for the X-Title. Williams is my favorite guy in the X-Division (and one of my favorites in the entire company) so I'm glad he is getting something of a push. However, it's kind of saddening that he'll be nothing more than fodder for Senshi. I was fooled a few weeks back, but I'm sure they said Bobby Roode would be brining his interviews for a new manager to the Impact Zone next week. I'll be surprised if he lives up to the hype TNA has been giving him. The Jarrett segment was just bad. Everything from the firing squad (didn't WWE get blasted for doing something similar?), to the noose, to the audience plant that Jarrett threw out of the building, to Cornette speaking on the phone, to them constantly mentioning that Impact was "live" even though we knew it wasn't was all bad. The only thing I enjoyed about the segment was the vocal boos directed at Jarrett. |

Allright, 2 mid-TNA notes: 1. I'm so flattered that they still refer to Jay Lethal as to being "From Elizabeth, New Jersey." I feels good to know one successful person that came out of here. 2. Did Christian and TNA just take a cheap shot at John Cena? They way he faced Killings (who I thought quit) and said "You're not the first poser rapper i've beaten." Just thought that was interesting, since Cena fits the bill perfectly! |

The last I heard, Killings is still contractually obligated to wrestle so he has to wrestle any match TNA books him in until his contract expires. It looks like TNA is going to job him out while they can. And, yes, I also noticed Christian and Killings take a shot at Christian. You pointed out Christians shot, which was true. Christian did have a small feud with Cena before he went to SD! and then quit shortly afterwards. Killings also took a jab at Cena by saying something along the lines of "The difference is, I don't imitate, I demonstrate" |
