DX vs nWo; Possibly happening

DX vs Hardy Boyz I think would be kool!

I actually think that DX vs nWo could be a fun storyline ... they could have nWo mess with DX without having everyone know it's nWo, then out of nowhere BAM the nWo theme starts.

Have DX and nWo mess with each other until their match at Survivor Series ... I'm also a total nWo mark by the way which is probably why I'm the only one here thinking that this could be kool

There has been some talk at the WWE discussion table in regards to bringing back Kevin Nash, 47, and Scott Hall, 47 (48 next month). Should they return, the duo would come in to feud with DX once the McMahon vs. DX feud runs its course. The possibility of a "DX vs. NWO" feud seems to be much too hard to write off completely and that it should at least be considered.

As expected, there are some people within WWE who don't want anything to do with either Kevin Nash nor Scott Hall - all for different reasons. WWE sources are denying the possibility of The Outsiders returning to WWE, but they have admitted that the idea of them returning has been proposed within various circles.

Kevin Nash's TNA status is currently in limbo. If his contract hasn't run out already, it probably will soon. As for Scott Hall, in an interview with a Puerto Rico wrestling site back in June, he said that he was healthy and that he was training for a possible in-ring return.

I honestly don't know what to think about this. I admit the whole idea itself holds some level of intrigue for me, ages and other stuff not withstanding.

I'm sure millions of fans would certainly tune in to see it if they did try it. I dunno. What do you guys think?

If this happens, which is a big IF, I will be on the fence through it. We remember what happened the first time they did anything WCW vs. WWF, and I think in the state WWE is right now, they'll kill what could be a good angle. They would need Hogan, back, though. If not, it would just be D-X vs. The Outsiders, which is not as intruiging, especially if they call them "NWO."

This was started in another thread so I'll just merge the two.

Well, to answer the question, if it did happen, and it was done properly with no stupid Hogan entry or anything it would no doubt be awesome. It'd have to be real, it'd have to be believable, and if it was it'd be a surefire ratings hit.

Somehow, I just can't shake the pessimistic feeling that it'd end up like the Invasion angle.

Scott Hall has resumed training and, according to the Wrestling Observer, plans to pursue a pro wrestling comeback.

He and Sean Waltman have been talking about pitching the idea of a DX vs. nWo feud to WWE. As was recently reported, there has been informal talk of the angle in some WWE circles, but it is not yet under official consideration.

If WWE rejects the nWo idea, Hall intends to seek a job with TNA. Seemingly tipping the scale in TNA's favor, outside of WWE's thoughts of the nWo storyline, is the fact that Hall doesn't want to travel full-time.

Scott Hall won the very first match I ever saw ... and I'm really hoping he does comeback, because he was my favorite wrestler for years growing up!!! And he's a good wrestler, like his matches as Razor Ramon own!! And he's good on the mic ... he just has some drugs and alcohol problems ...

I hope he does comeback if not to WWE for nWo, then at least go to TNA so I have a reason to watch it then.

I believe unless memory serves me wrong that when they (WWE) brought back the NWO in 2002, they had to fire Hall because of he was still a bad alcoholic or some incident on a plane trip back from the UK, he went to TNA then only to form a horrible faction with Nash and Jarrett calling themselves the Kings Of Wrestling....still I would'nt mind seeing him back in the ring aslong as he has kicked the addiction.

His last match was over a year and a half ago at Final Resolution against Jeff Hardy.

The Man. Any Questions?
I have a horrible feeling it's going to happen.

I thought Cybrus was only joking about creative being only 3/4 of the way through their 1997 videotape collection, but he may be right. :(

Think of the consequences:

In comes the nWo. Guess who's in the main event for the foreseeable future?

Hogan (washed up), Nash (washed up), Hall (washed up, PLUS problems), maybe Waltman (oh, dear God, please, don't let him come back to WWE), Triple H (been there, done that, more times than we can count), Shawn Michaels (rumored to be injured, and over 40, at any rate).

In other words, a bunch of has-beens (and never-weres, in Waltman's case).

How the hell does that help WWE? They need a CURRENT generation carrying the ball, not a bunch of "heroes of yesteryear".

What happens when the program runs its course, and all those dinosaurs leave?

Since they have been monopolizing the top spot, there will be NOBODY to transition the spotlight to. It will just be a power vacuum, and it will just be a crash.

The whole D-X vs. nWO idea is garbage. These guys sucked ten years ago; let the memory die.

STAY HYPED!!!
Unless DX turns heel, then I don't think Hogan would fit into the nWo. He's too over as a face to join a heel faction. One of the reasons the nWo failed in WWE the first time (and there were lots of reasons) was because Hogan was turned face by the fans even though the group was suppose to be heels.

PWT

With DX needing another opponent to feud with, the possibility of a feud with the nWo seems better than ever. The word around WWE is that if the feud was to happen it would only last for a month or two and it would depend on several factors.
