In what seems to be a developmental shakeup, former AWA star Greg Gagne has been dropped as OVW booker and released from the WWE altogether. Gagne was brought in by the WWE after WrestleMania 22 back in April of this year initially as a agent, but was then moved to OVW to replace Paul Heyman as head booker.

There doesn't seem to be any news on a replacement or why he has been removed, but its reported that Danny Davis and Al Snow will take over the vacated role for the mean time and oversee the day to day operations.

I would've thought he was doing a decent job.

As reported last night, World Wrestling Entertainment released Greg Gagne from his position as booker of Ohio Valley Wrestling (a position he also reportedly held with the Deep South Wrestling territory as well).

According to new reports from The Wrestling Observer, the feeling internally within WWE was that Gagne's knowledge of the old AWA system was out of touch with modern wrestling. The likely candidate to replace Gagne is Mike Bucci (aka Nova/Simon Dean).

STAY HYPED!!!
So I'm guessing Dimon Dean is no longer an on air personality? He hasn't been seen in ages and his character was horrible, but he could have been a lot more than he was.
