credit-wrestlingattitude.com Last night was UPN's last broadcast on television, which meant SmackDown! will be in the record books as the final television program to ever air on the network. Speaking of SmackDown!, TVRatingsUSA.com is reporting that UPN took a record low 0.9/2 rating and 0.5 18-49 demographic rating last night. SmackDown! premieres on the new CW Network next week. lol things just keep geting worse for this brand if we see sd in the 2.4s and 2.5s next week that is gonna obviously prove it was upns fault the past couple of months for so low ratings |

STAY HYPED!!!
|
SmackDown! averaged in the 2.4 range for years, so I'd say the recent low ratings is a direct result of the bad UPN schedule. SD! wasn't shown in over half the country. I expect the ratings to improve next week. |

All hail King Booker!
|
I don't think you quite understand what this news means. Smackdown was pre-empted and completely not shown in about half the country. People can't watch a show that is not broadcasted on the TV. So, the ratings will be drastically down from the normal averages because it was impossible for people to watch the show. If half the country is unable to watch Smackdown, then SD directly loses half their audience. I expect Smackdown to bounce back up to a 2.5 with the premiere. And remember, if Cena happens to lose and goes to SD, I could see the ratings even higher. Maybe a 3.0 even. |

The ratings will jump next week. Especially, if Cena comes to SmackDown!. |

It sucks that Smackdown is doing so bad ... because it's not a bad show, I enjoyed the first hour that I saw last night, good matches ... even tho Lashley's terrible mic skills brought it down a little bit but otherwise it was a good episode. |
