Neb, despite internationality, it's something inevitable to make all the person who viewed the show in first hand to not talk about it. It's almost like restraining a person from going to the bathroom to take a piss. Sure we can put warning, but the best thing (although, this sucks) one would do is to avoid the topics. I personally don't care that much if get the PPV spoiled, even if I live in Peru. Don't use North Americans as an example (although, it's the most obvious and easy one). Also, there are other shows that North Americans watch and they don't get it first (like anime, some movies, european shows, etc.). |

I didn't suggest not talking about it, I merely suggest giving adequate warning. Have you ever wasted $30 because some guy on the internet gave away the ending to something you were watching? I certainly haven't, but I can imagine how pissed off I'll be. So...NO spoilers without warning. Refer to the stickied threads. |

BURN IT DOOOWWNNNNNNNN!

Thanks a lot. Hmm, I hate the Undisputed Design, they should just come up with a whole new design IMO. But as you said, it could be just because Show never held the Spinner belt. |

This is only the second real slip up. Considering how many events could have been spoiled, I'd say that 2 slips in 9 months is nothing to get too huffed up about. I can completely understand being upset because you read a spoiler that you didn't want to read. But this isn't a weekly or even monthly occurrence. Just because one person posted a spoiler doesn't mean that the American portion of this board (which you tend to over criticize) isn't sympathetic to international viewers. |

As far as I'm concerned, 2 spoilers is too much. We should aim for zero spoilers. What pisses me off even more are people that begin whinging about the inconvininece of putting a spoiler notice or something like that in. I'm looking at you MakeYourself. Honestly. |

Huh? Anyways, let's get back on topic. The spoiler issu should be debated somewhere else and not on this thread. |

With all due respect, Neb, you did reply within this thread several hours prior to Luke complaining about the spoiler. I do not know if this thread spoiled the event for you personally, but you could have caught and prevented the spoiler from spoiling anyone else. See how easy it is for a simple mistake to slip by?

Simple answer (yet sad): I don't watch wrestling anymore, regularly. I don't know what's going on in the wrestling world, and I didn't know when Unforgiven was on. I was a tiny bit at fault for not noticing it, but the people who were more at fault were the ones that were totally aware of what was happening, and didn't give any regard to someone likes Fittes. Granted, the issue was last raised a few months ago, but it has been raised. I wasn't the one who posted the spoilers, and no blame can be given to me for actually having the spoilers there in the first place. The issue here is not what I did, it's the fact that a spoiler was posted. Stop shifting the blame and instead support a culture of non-spoilers.
Backseat moderating isn't allowed. Don't do it again. |

I've shifted no blame. The thread should have been labeled more clearly. But when things are mislabeled, then it is the staff's job to catch it. You and I both failed on this and I think we are as much to blame as the thread author. And as far as supporting a culture of non-spoilers, I think my track records speaks for itself. Not only have I never posted a spoiler without proper warning, but I have been vocal for others to do the same. Once again, sorry that the spoiler was leaked, but one slip up is nothing to get overly huffed up over. I often record wrestling shows and watch them throughout the week. I've had the shows accidentally spoiled for me before, and I never needed cheese to go with my wine. |
