STAY HYPED!!!

The preview makes it sound like Cena doesn't have the choice of going to SmackDown! any longer. Is the contract offer still valid? Couldn't he still go to SmackDown! if he wished? I guess they are going to drop that storyline completely. Although, it would be interesting to see Teddy interrupt Cena's promo (you know he's having one) and still attempt to get him to sign that contract. I'm surprised the preview made no mention of Trish Stratus. Is she going to make a "special" appearance tonight (last Raw was suppose to be her final Raw). Is she simply going to vacate the title? And finally, from the looks of the preview, DX vs the McMahons will continue.

Well, that was just sarcasm for no apparent reason wasn't it. I think it's clear that I am super-psyched about this Kane/Umaga re-match and wanted to make a big affair out of all. Yeah, that's it. What did you think it was? Did you think I was browsing a wrestling news site, saw an "updated" preview, and decide to post that. Pfft, I bet you feel silly right about now.

I'm an idiot. You are right. My bad. Teach me how to be cool like you. Back on the subject, I hope Vince comes out and says he is taking a sabatical and leaves TV for a few months so that DX and this story can just move on.... |

I would be in favor of Vince leaving TV for a while. I didn't watch Unforgiven, but if Vince took a bad beating then they could always have Coach fill in for him this week, or they could have Lina (or is she still heel?) come out and and announce a new GM. |

I don't think that part of the storyline is done yet. Maybe Cena will say he's decided to move to Smackdown despite the win or something. For the first time in ages, I'm actually looking forward to RAW instead of skipping ahead to ECW. RAW should be good tonight. Oh and I hope the McMahons don't make an appearance tonight, or any night for that matter. |

The Man. Any Questions?
|
There's a lot of wishful thinking going on. Cena isn't going anywhere. On a related note, I just spoke to my father a little while ago, and we argued about Cena. He actually claimed that nobody on RAW is any more talented than Cena! Oh, please tell me I was adopted....

Didn't Cena said that he already signed that Smackdown contract and he would give it back to Teddy in case he lost? Anyways, maybe Vince won't appear, unless the docs made him recover really quickly... or maybe he'll send some message from the hospital. |

This was one of the most atrocious RAW shows I've ever seen. And the main event was horrid. The fans didn't want to cheer for anyone. Did you hear them when Trips got in the game? Finally someone to cheer for. I thought the equation went No McMahons = Good RAW. Well, this RAW was absolutely horrible. I was so pumped to watch it after Unforgiven, it was one of the few times I actually look forward to the show. God I can't wait for ECW tomorrow. Anyway, this RAW gets 1/10. 1 point for the IC title match. The promo before it though was bad. Three of my most hated wrestlers in the same ring cutting promos on each other? Yuck. Just bad. |

Just started watching it... guess we're seeing Cena as the WWE Chamion for a good while. Hell, he got "his" spinner belt back so quickly. I say he loses it by NYR or at the RR. Who the hell is Cena to say that he and Edge came to an end? Chants against Cena: -Boring. -Cena sucks. Kermits... lmao... damn, why Edge has to gain heel heat? Damn writers. I wanna see No Mercy. |

It wasnt that bad. Nothing great. Edge was good on the mic. DX, promo to Vince was good. The 6man challenge, including the stuff before it was good. And Candice. I thought I would point out the good stuff. When Edge said Montreal wasnt Canada.... that was hilarious. Then he called them Kermits and said "ribbit". HAHAHAHA, stupid frenchies. |

Pros: *Kane attacking Estrada (finally somebody attacks that jackass). *Shelton Benjamin appearing again. *SS taking Maria away from the screen. That bitch is a waste of time. *Flair's reversal move on Johnny to get the pinfall. *The setting up for the Six Pack Challenge. *The whole Six Pack Challenge match for the IC. Everybody there deserves a huge applause. Cons: *Cena's Customized Belt returned too quickly. *Edge having to gain heel heat. *Maria appearing (for once, I'll be glad that SS interrupted her). *Still seeing SS as Tag Team Champions. *Lita jobbing to Candice. *Crowd during Main Event, as well as the Main Event. *Cena doing DX Crotch Chops? This will be edited as I keep seeing the show. |

Well, it's Edge job to gain heel heat, he shouldn't be getting cheered. It must be so hard for him and other heels to have to go against Cena because no matter how hard they try to get the most heat, it usually doesn't work. Look at Kurt Angle and his feud with Cena, he had to resort to bad-mouthing the US troops to get heat. And yet, the crowd still loved him because he's Kurt freakin' Angle. I understand now why the E is hesitant on turning Cena heel. Not only is it because of the merchandise-selling, it's because they know that's what the fans want and they'll cheer the hell out of him for being one. What do you read on wrestling forums and the IWC rabid Cena haters? "I want Cena to turn heel or get off my TV screen. Simple as that". It's what people want. If they get it, he'd probably be cheered and what's the use in him as a heel if he gets cheered? I'm thinking this may plague him for most of his career. As a heel, he'll be massively popular and cheered but as a face, he'll be hated with a passion. |

The Man. Any Questions?
|
I think MakeYourself85 was talking about Edge getting cheap heat, having to resort to directly insulting the audience to get a reaction. "Getting heat" due to his actions in the ring and towards other performers is good, but "cheap heat" is...well...cheap!
I'm not one of the "I want Cena to turn heel or leave" set. I don't care about heel, I want him to get the whole foot, square in the ass as he heads out. Well, that may be a little harsh. The man doesn't necessarily have to be canned completely, just take him out of the Main Event spotlight awhile. I wouldn't mind him staying face, so long as he's not being jammed down our throats every time there's a Title match. |

Insulting the USA troops? Heh. Let's say that if Eddie Guerrero was still alive and had to face Cena at Mexico, to gain heel heat, he would have to burn the Mexico flag? Damn... well, I understand Edge's is to be a heel, but I found it sad that the writers made him said that. I think Cena needs some time off the screen so he can clear his mind and get some wrestling moves... the most effective way to get Cena as a heel (and legally booed) would be making him a child molestor or rape a female fan. Abuse a child, which symbolizes a great part of his fanbase. I know that sounds fucked up, though. Your point about having Cena as a heel and getting cheered is valid. While Cena is getting booed, he still has fan support. |

There are lines that shouldn't be crossed in wrestling and that idea is one of them. Having him be a child molester heel or "rape a fan" would be ridiculous and despicable. I would hope that McMahon would have enough decency and respect not to go that route. Truly. As for Cena taking time off, I don't see that unless he gets legitimately injured or partakes in a work where he gets "hurt". I don't see that happening anytime soon however because he has no reason to go off screen right now. |

And without any explanation. Edge threw (a replica of) Cena's title into a river. How did he get it back? Is it new? And why didn't he do anything to Edge's title? Even a small little comment about the belt not having a spinning R would have been nice. Raw started off very nicely. I love watching a show that has a hot crowd that is on their feet and vocally active. It makes the show even that much better. And even though we've been seeing Edge/Cena since January, it was slightly entertaining just because of the fan reaction throughout the segment. Edge started out as a mega face and turned around and got his heel heat back. That's entertaining. You can call it cheap heat if you want, but Edge did his job. He made the people boo him. The way he went around doing it may only have worked for that audience, but most audiences already give him his heel heat. The Six pack IC Title match was difficult to watch, not because it was bad, but because there was a lot of action going on at one time. When it was first announced, I expected it 4 guys to be on the outside while 2 were on the inside and anyone could tag anyone. This way was unique, but difficult to follow. The final 2 minutes or so were the most entertaining moments of the match. The promo before the match was entertaining as well. Carlito got the biggest pop, which I'm guessing put a smile on 15 Shows' face. I enjoyed the entire segment from promo to match bell. My satelite reception went out for about 10 minutes, so I missed this week's Cryme Tyme promo. I read an online report and it sounded entertaining. I like the Cryme Tyme promos, and hope the duo are as entertaining once they appear on screen. Highlanders had entertaining promos as well, and we see what they turned into. I want everyone that tells me Lita is a great women's wrestler to explain why her match against Candice was so poor. You cannot blame Candice since Lita was in control of 90% of the match, and since others have had much better matches with the exact same person. Lita looked like she didn't even want to be there. There's just no excuse for that. Cade and Murdoch went from Heat jobbers to Raw main eventers? I wonder how long it'll last. The entire main event was booked poorly. They gave no explanation why DX would pair with Cena, even though Triple H spent half of this year feuding with him. They introduced Cena prior to DX, and the champ should always be introduced last to get the top billing. Cena should not do crotch chops. DX put Edge away even though Cena is the one feuding with him. It was all bad. All things considered, I'd say it was an average show. Not horrible, not great. |
