Hulk Hogan called into the Bubba The Love Sponge radio show on Sirius Howard 101 on Thursday afternoon live from Vince McMahon's office in Stanford, Connecticut. It was a very interesting segment. Below are the highlights:

- Vince was late for the meeting, so Hogan was calling alone from Vince's office. Since Hulk arrived at WWE headquarters, there were cameras on him the whole time.

- Hulk wants to return to WWE and his meeting with Vince was to discuss ways to get him involved in storylines

- Brooke Hogan's album drops next week and Hulk wants Vine to promote it on Raw this wek

- Hulk wants to be at the Royal Rumble and would even wrestle at Survivor Series

- When asked about a match with Steve Austin at WrestleMania 23 (which is strongly unlikely to happen), Hulk said that if they booked Austin as the face and him as the heel, he would still get all the cheers. When asked if he would job to Austin, Hogan said he would want to do "what's best for business".

- They kept asking Hulk to do his Vince McMahon impression and say "YOU'RE FIRED!" and at the end of the segment when Vince finally arrived for his meeting with Hogan, Hulk "fired" Vince.

So is he honestly wanting to return, or is he just saying he wants to return so that Vince will promote Brooke's CD? Also, I think Hulk greatly underestimates Austin's drawing power. :whatever:

It's a fabulous new day, yes it is!
Hmm... Brooke's CD getting shoved on our faces, damn... I won't buy it, though. I might listen to it if Hogan gave it to me autographed and for free, lol.

Hogan wrestling at Survivor Series might confirm the return of nWo vs DX. Hogan at Royal Rumble, I don't know.

But who would be Hogan's rival for Wrestlemania? Big Show or Austin? The first one would be just to re-create the Hogan-slamming-André moment, which might be nostalgic to some people. And him fighting Austin would be a dream match. And there's people who don't want to see Hogan wrestling again. Or maybe he'll face Austin at RR and Show at WM23 (for that moment).

I'm fairly certain a match the magnitude of Austin vs Hogan would be saved for WrestleMania. The only other PPV I could see it happen at would be SummerSlam. But I don't see the match happening, period.

Fair enough, but I guess that will happen only if Austin gets scheduled to win. But the final decision on who gets to wrestle with Hogan is up to Vince.

What a prick, he knows he wouldn't job.

The Man. Any Questions?
And guess what?

Hogan would NOT get the cheers.

Austin outdrew Hogan in his prime, period. It's time Hogan faces that, and accepts it, rather than standing in the dust squeaking, "I'm still the best! I'm God, God I tell you, and nobody will ever be better than me!".

Hogan should get a life.

I think Austing would definitley get the majority of the pops. He's been out of action for so long and been back a couple of times.

I would love to see a heel Hogan with a strong stable wreaking havok on Raw and SD which would lead in the return of Austin to take Hogan down at WM. That would rule brother.

I think it'll be a mixed reaction, really. And it will depend on the fans that go to WM23, on how much they got to see of Hogan or Austin. Many may not have seen Hogan's complete career and might cheer for Austin. Oldschool fans (not all of them) might cheer for Hogan. I think Austin won't get booed as The Rock did during Wrestlemania X-8.

Money, money, yeah, yeah!
I don't know the realtionship is with Austin and Vince but Austin is a maybe. The last time Austin was suppose to be in a match he backed out. Austin/Hogan would be the biggest WM match in years, the two biggest names in each era against each other that would be huge for the WWE. But it could all be a fantasy match in the eyes of some wrestling fans like me. I don't see this match happening.

Austin has expressed no desire to face Hogan as he knows it would be a stink fest. As for Hogan, anything he does these days is to promote Brooke. Not that I blame him.

According to reports, Hulk Hogan has hinted that WrestleMania 23 in Detroit next year may be his final match. However, many find that hard to believe since a pay per view audience remains in the market that will still pay to see Hogan appear or wrestle.

Although Hogan hasn't come right out and said WrestleMania 23 will be his "retirement match" from wrestling, many feel he might be hinting at it simply to build up hype for the show next year. As of now, he is expected to appear in Detroit.

How many "last matches" has Hogan had already? As long as the money is there, and as long as Hogan can drag himself out to the ring, then there's always a chance of "one more match" from Hogan.

Up until now, I ve been trying to justify my dislike for Hogan. This interview proves it, Hogan is full of himself. Hogan says he'll do what's best for the company, but when it comes down to it, it's about making himself look good. If the rumors are correct, Hogan was suppose to lose to Michaels before he said something Hogan didn't want to hear.
