Okay, so Vince was talking to Angle and they got into an argument or somehing like that. vince wanted to fire Angle. Angle wanted to know if he could still wrestle or not. so, the creative team, or some other people ENCOURAGED Angle to go to TNA. Because he would be able to rest a bit. That's right people, Vince is trying to use TNA as his wrestler's recooperating ground to heal up, and sometime, come back in the near future. But, Angle said he's staying with TNA. only time will tell. |

It's still fucking stupid. Sending Angle to TNA would only serve to increase their exposure, and income from various means. No matter what he sends Angle in there to do, it's not going to work in Vince's favour. If he wanted to send Angle somewhere, he would have sent him to a place that wouldn't have benefitted Vince's primary competition. An indy promotion that the WWE runs, or perhaps OVW would have been a much better place for him to send Angle if he wanted him to reenergise himself. Angle would be much further up in the heirarchy, he'd get whatever he wants done to him, and Vince would have total control over what happens to Angle. If he sent him to TNA, Angle would have a little control over his career, and Vince would have no control. Add to that the fact that there's no guarantee (once Angle sings an exclusive contract with TNA) that he'd ever come back, and the chances of this being true are running down to zero. These indy places don't attempt to be in competition with Vince, they don't have international TV deals and they don't pose a threat to Vince. With Angle sent to TNA by Vince, he'd have to compete. Of course, one could argue that Vince has finally woken up and realised he needs competition to be at his best - that a monopoly benefits no-one. Uh-uh, there's no way Vince would be like that. His life goal has been a monopoly of the wrestling industry, and from when he first took over the WWF until now, he's never stopped wanting or living out that dream. He destroyed the national scene in the 80's, he was determined not to let WCW get the better of him in the 90's, and he didn't hesitate to be rid of WCW in the 00's when he had the first opportunity. There's no chance in hell any of this planned Angle crap is true. |

I dont think it matters. Angle or no Angle, TNA will still not be able to compete. Simply because, they are missing the key ingredient. Vince Mcmahon. So if Vince wants to send his guys to rest over there, he can do just that. I dont know if it is true or not, but if it is, I dont think its a bad idea. He fight in slow matches against guys like Jarrett and Sting for a couple months and then come back. And make a little pocket money while he's at it. |

Vince is a capitalist, who capitalises on opportunities. He's not some kind of magician that can make or break a company, he simply sees an opportunity and takes it. So far, this Angle business seems like he's lost an opportunity rather than capitalised on it. |

I guess we'll have to wait and see. For some reason, I have a weird feeling that Brock Lesner will be in a WWE ring withing the next year. |

Vince McMahon is the key ingredient, eh? I don't recall WCW having Vince McMahon while they were whipping WWE's behind for some 82 weeks in a row. ![]() I do agree with you though, Shows, that Angle isn't the magic pill that will instantly make TNA major competition to WWE. Angle will bring in a fair amount of new viewers, but TNA as a whole is still just a small blip on the grand scale of things. They need a few more years to continue gaining exposure. Also, TNA has their share of booking flaws that they need to overcome. Moving onto topic, I find the idea that Vince sent Angle to TNA to be absurd. It's nothing more than a conspiracy theory. |
