Eddie post-mortem storyline ending by No Mercy?

It's a fabulous new day, yes it is!
Because it's been around the Internet that after No Mercy, Rey Mysterio's getting his so-needed knee surgery and will take a rest for some months (6 months, I think).

So after Rey goes down, this storyline ends or not yet? Some might think since Rey is gone, bye-bye Eddie storyline. And there's the other thing concerning about what will Chavo do after Rey is gone.

But maybe it doesn't end yet. Maybe, I've been thinking of this... but maybe the WWE would be capable of having Benoit and Chavo feud over Eddie's friendship. I hope not... that would be really crappy for Benoit returning to Smackdown.

I've been thinking it could end by November 13th, the day when Eddie died. That day would be a Tuesday, where Smackdown gets taped. Maybe the storyline could end on that very day.

(This idea stolen from WWEWhoseLine48 from a tv.com thread about Rey Mysterio)
You know... sometimes, people wished Eddie was still alive and hidden somewhere, since this could make sense just to have his post-mortem storyline still acitve for so much time after his death. If Eddie was still alive, for storyline purposes, WWE could have Eddie showing up on Smackdown and go like "I Lieeeeeed! So this is how people would treat me if I was dead?" That would be tasteless as hell, but to hear that line from Eddie would be somehow funny.

And I remember that before Wrestlemania 22, some dude called Kenny Casanova had a theory (mostly bullshit) about Eddie still alive and appeared at WM22 to save Rey and kick Orton's ass, but that was fake (the fact he got inducted to the HOF makes me think that retired or dead wrestlers or other kind of people only get that) and I think he took that theory off his website. To look at that theory, click here.

Anyways, I hope the storyline ends by No Mercy.

That would be hilarious, but I'm pretty sure Eddie's buried in the ground (or cremated, I forget which one)

A man can dream though, a man can dream......

STAY HYPED!!!
To me, it looks like they are passing the Eddie storyline from Rey to Chavo. If Rey does leave after his match at No Mercy, then Chavo will still have Vicki in his corner. As long as Vicki is around, then their will be mentions of Eddie.

I think Chavo taking over the story line will kinda kill it though since he's a heel. Unless he pulls a 180 and go face, which would also weaken the already worn out story.

You know... after his speech about Rey being a leech before Summerslam, I was expecting Chavo to become a face or tweener and Rey to get some heel turn.

personally, i wish WWE would stop bringing up Eddie at every turn. no disrespect towards Eddie, as i've enjoyed watching him since i first saw him in WCW. i just feel that his memory is being worn out & abused. allow me to remember him in his glory. i want to remember Eddie the way he should be remembered, not in the fashion that WWE is using him.
