Dark Match:

Brian Kendrick/Paul London def. KC James/Idol Stevens after London pinned James with a Dropsault

SmackDown Spoilers:

-Batista enters and calls out Finlay. Paul Heyman comes out with his security guards and tries to convince him to jump to ECW. Batista thinks about joining ECW and shakes Heyman's hand and then gives him a thumbs down and beats up Heyman's security guards. The Big Show and King Booker both attack. John Cena makes the save and him and Batista clear the ring.

-William Regal/Dave Taylor def. Bobby Lashley/Tatanka. Regal pinned Tatanka with his feet on the ropes. After the match, Tatanka decks the referee and attacks Lashley and lays him out on the floor.

-Kristal tries to interview Chris Benoit. Benoit spots Vickie Guerrero and talks to Vickie about how good of friends that Benoit and Eddie Guerrero were. Vickie says that Benoit wasn't as close to Eddie as he thought he was.

-MVP tells Theodore R. Long that he's sick with a intestinal virus and says that due to a clause in his contract he can take a sick day and opts out of his No-DQ match with Kane that was scheduled for later in the night. Mr. Kennedy comes in wanting a match with the Undertaker. Long says that the Undertaker isn't here and puts Mr. Kennedy in the no-DQ match against Kane.

-Vickie Guerrero warns Chavo Guerrero to stay away from Chris Benoit. Chavo says that he prefers to keep his friends close and his enemies closer.

-Gregory Helms beat Matt Hardy after reversing a pin attempt into a crucifix and grabbing the ropes for leverage.

-Backstage, Ashley Missaro shows Paul London and Brian Kendrick her costume for the Trick Or Treat Divas Battle Royal for later in the evening. She is dressed in some costume with wings.

-Mr. Kennedy def. Kane in a No DQ match after MVP interfered and hit Kane with a chair.

-Backstage, John Cena gives Batista a pep talk.

-Chavo Guerrero and Vickie come out. Chavo talks about how they've been able to move on with their lives after Chavo made Rey Mysterio say "I Quit" last week. Chavo shows the clip of Mysterio saying "I Quit" several times. Chris Benoit comes out and Chavo and Vickie leave and walk to the back, leaving Benoit standing in the ring.

-Theodore R. Long comes out and makes Mr. Kennedy/MVP vs. Kane/The Undertaker for next week.

-The Trick or Treat Diva's Battle Royal is up:
Jillian Hall comes out dressed as Elvis
Michelle McCool comes out dressed as a nurse
Kristal comes out dressed as a gold miner
Ashley comes out in her winged costume
Layla comes out dressed as a bunny
The Miz introduces himself as the special guest referee. He helps Kristal win by pulling Layla off the apron.

-After the break Miz says he helped Kristal win because of what Layla did to him when he set him up with the fat stripper on his birthday. The Boogeyman comes out and The Miz pushes Kristal into the Boogeyman and runs away. The Boogeyman scares Kristal into laying on her back and The Boogeyman then uses his mouth to put worms into Kristal's mouth.

-Backstage, King Booker and The Big Show talk about the main event.

-John Cena/Batista def. King Booker/The Big Show after Batista pinned Booker with a Batista Bomb after the Big Show walked out on Booker.

The entire upper deck and the upper part of the camera side were all tarped off. The Cardinals being in the World Series seemed to really hurt ticket sales. The crowd that was there was hot all night.

During the William Regal/Dave Taylor vs. Tatanka/Bobby Lashley match, Taylor appeared to suffer some sort of right leg injury. It appeared to happen late in the match when Lashley threw Taylor into the corner. Lashley missed a charge and hit the post. Taylor limped back to his and Regal's corner. He hobbled to the back after the match, not able to put weight on it.

The crowd got pretty bored during the Hardcore Holly/Test match on ECW on Sci Fi. There were some "Boring," "TNA" and "Lets Go Cardinals" chants during that match.

Taylor seems a mainstay on SD. This may be good for the show. Tatanka lost again, what an insult.

Matt lost aswell? Crazy.

But this time he turned heel by attacking Lashley. I don't see why anyone cares, though. Tatanka is a boring waste of time.

Tatanka really doesn't have much appeal factor though. I don't think it won't be long until he's released now.

SD seems quite boring this week.

It looks okay, but once again they take up peoples time doing some stupid crap with the divas, it's like they have nothing better to do with them nor that annoying Miz person.

I'm quite excited to see the return of "The Brother's of Destruction." I hope that they will form an alliance and stay together for a while, and not only for one match. However, I love MVP's gimmick and his wrestling style so I hope Kennedy and MVP win the match.

It's a fabulous new day, yes it is!
I'm surprised that none of you have mentioned that the Eddie storyline continues with Benoit's return. Chavo and Benoit is going to be Benoit's new feud. Damn.

Mz/Boogeyman feud? Damn. Although, I wouldn't mind Boogeyman beating Miz up, Boogeyman needs to get his ass kicked as well.

Jillian Hall as Elvis??

And London/Kendrick vs James/Stevens should have been part of the show.

Anyway, seems like a good show to watch and the other one after this should be good, since Kane and Taker will join together again.

Boogey might win against Miz. I can understand his appearance... but just don't let Boogeyman appear on ECW next Tuesday just because it's Halloween...

Smackdown was good this week though I thought the wrestling was a bit subpar than usual. Hardy/Helms was a rehashment of what we've been seeing for weeks. It was a good match but something different needs to happen in that feud.

I can't believe Lashley was teamed with Tatanka. From being a contender to the world title to teaming with Tatanka? On top of that, Tatanka kicked his ass after the match, thus turning heel. Seemed to bury Lashley a bit.

Kane/Kennedy match was pretty good. I think moving Kane to SD was a good move. I also liked MVP interfering at the end, causing Kane to lose and further their feud. Can't wait to see BOD reunite next week.

Diva Battle Royal was blah but I was really impressed with Layla until the fuckin' Miz had to mess that up. I would've loved to see her pull off that suplex on Krystal to the outside of the ring. She has a lot of potential to be really good in the ring.

Main event was good for what it was. I still won't be buying Cyber Sunday but it'll be interesting to see what happens during the first ever "Champion of Champions" match.

The backstage segments all throughout the show were all well-done. Each served a purpose and was entertaining to watch. The Cena/Batista was cute in that it kind of showed off to the IWC, with bringing up how Batista had "lost his fire" and Cena was "lame". Good emotion from both men. My favorite segment of the night was the Hooliganz with Ashley. I love how at the end, Spanky was spasming at how good Ashley looked and London () looked at him like "calm down man, she ain't all that." Paul showed a lot of spunk during the whole thing and I just loved it. After viewing it though, it kind of brought up some questions about the team and Ashley's role with them. Maybe it's nothing but there seemed to be more to it than just oogling at Ashley.

Overall, good show although the wrestling was a bit underwhelming. After watching all wrestling shows this week (as I do every week), I think SD was the show of the week.

Finally, Tatanka turns heel, who cares? Is he gonna feud with Lashley or just be a jobber? Too bad for Taylor getting injured quickly.

Now Benoit gets dragged into the Eddie storyline. But if Benoit goes off this feud, who might continue it, Jericho? Benoit should ignore them, Vicky ignored him, so... but I guess Benoit took Eddie's death real hard, so I think he'll feud with Chavo anyways.

Hardy vs Helms was great, but they might need a steel cage match or a different kind of match to settle the score once and for all. I got another idea to spice up the feud:
Have Helms wrestle against Funaki, Yang or Noble, then somewhere in the match, Matt Hardy costs Helms the match and loses his Cruiserweight Championship, so then Helms will target against Matt with more anger.

In my opinion, Kennedy vs Kane was the match of the night. Great performance from both wrestlers and MVP's interference worked well enough to spice up his feud with Kane. Can't wait for next week when Taker gets involved as well.

Seeing Miz is just as annoying as watching Daivari and Khali... Boogeyman... I wonder if the worm eater would show up on ECW and wrestle against Kevin Thorn for Halloween, since both ECW and Smackdown are getting taped tomorrow.

Every backstage segment worked pretty well during the show. Kudos to Smackdown on that. Weird to see London and Kendrick talking, though.

And the main event was good as well, spicing the Cyber Sunday Main Event with Show ditching Booker on his own. But I really was expecting Heyman and his security guards to show up at the Main Event and attack Batista and Cena.

Anyways, I'll say it was a good show.

And the ratings were:

PWMania.com

Last night's edition of Smackdown drew a 2.7 rating, with a 5.0 share, in the fast national ratings. The second hour drew an impressive 3.1 rating despite going up against the deciding game of the World Series on FOX.

Nice.

Good ratings for SD again. The average they usually expect is a 2.3, so a 2.7 is great.

I expect next week's to be around the same as well because of the BOD reunion.

Man, Lashley has fallen far down the todem pole, hasn't he. A month ago, he was set to headline No Mercy. Then that match was changed because WWE supposedly felt he couldn't draw. Now, he's getting knocked out from a single punch followed by a beat down from a has-been that jobs more than anything?

The Miz and Boogeyman in once segment? Craptastic. No other way to say it. But at least they booked them both in one segment instead of spreading it out over the show. Both are undefeated. I wonder who'll win when the two finally face each other?

I really hoped Benoit would speak against using Eddie's name as a way to advance a storyline.

Cena's backstage speech about Batista sandbagging it since he return was both good and bad. It was good because it was partially honest. Batista hasn't been good since he returned (and I doubt he'll ever return to the level he once was. His time has passed). It was bad because once again Cena made himself out to be super-cena.

The tag champs finally got to speak!
