WWE

Just six days before Cyber Sunday, RAW makes its final stop before the interactive pay-per-view this Monday night in Moline, Ill.

The Cutting Edge

There will be a special edition of The Cutting Edge with The Rated R Superstar’s special guests Mr. McMahon, Eric Bischoff and Jonathan Coachman – the three men that WWE fans can vote for to referee the match between DX and Edge and Randy Orton at Cyber Sunday. (Vote) What will the special edition of The Cutting Edge reveal about DX’s chances at next Sunday’s pay-per-view?

The Other Champs are here

World Heavyweight Champion King Booker and ECW World Champion Big Show will be at RAW. Last week, both assaulted Cena before the King turned on the Extreme Giant, nailing him with a Bookend. What will their presence mean for WWE Champion John Cena just six days before all three men meet in a Champion of Champions Match at Cyber Sunday?

Who will meet Mickie in the finals?

Mickie James took her spot in the finals of the Women’s Championship tournament by defeating Melina last week on RAW. Who will join her in the finals when Lita faces off against Maria?

Find out the answers to these questions and more on RAW, Monday night at 9/8 CT on the USA Network.

I might tune in for the Cutting Edge segment.

I just like to add that if Lita wins against Mickie cause Maria can't wrestle to save her life, that'll be the worst decision in a while from creative......not like anything they've been doing has been all great either.

It's a fabulous new day, yes it is!
Tonight's Raw could be resumed in one word: Meh.

Just in case anyone was curious to know what % Booker and Show got on the votes for tonight's Main Event, Show got 12% while Booker got 14% and you all know how much Coach got.

The best match of the night might have been between Orton and Triple H, but that's my opinion.

The Triple Threat Match should have lasted longer.

This episode basically gives you useful information to predict what might happen at Cyber Sunday.

Three funny things:

1) Piper pointing out that Flair, Slaughter and Rhodes were all WWE Champions, but he got "nothing". Seeemd random, yet funny the way he said it and lifted his Scottish skirt, lol.
2) Big Show and Booker at the same time telling Coach that he would face John Cena tonight in the Main Event.
3) Lawler saying that Lita was Rated E, as in Rated E for Everybody. Although Lita jokes are old, this one made me laugh.

Todd Grisham should get shot in the face. And Cena should get a marine or military gimmick by this point, his weargear doesn't make that much sense with his Marine complex.

From what I watched last night, RAW was pretty boring. It did its job of selling the Cyber Sunday PPV but I don't know if it really worked or not. I'm definitely not wasting my money on it.

The saving graces of the show were three elements. Carlito, Edge, and Cryme Tyme. Other than that, the show was average.

Yeah RAW wasn't the best last night. Although I really dug Cryme Tyme, I like these guys.

And the match between Orton and Triple H was awesome. It was such a good match. Best in awhile.

I actually didn't get to see the Orton/HHH, not because I didn't want to, but because I was distracted. I heard that it was good though.

I hated 1984, I mean Madonna was such a material girl, and I hated those Converse shoes that people used to were all the time, how bad were those things advertised again? Oh, sorry, this was Monday Night Raw? I couldn't tell with the American Future Heart Attack, Dusty Rhodes. Everytime I see him on tv he looks like he's going to have a stroke or something, someone's gonna sue someone.

Raw was ok, but WWE.com was wrong. There was no Cutting Edge segment, or did I miss it? I missed the beginning of Raw, so did I miss the Cutting Edge?

Yeah, The Cutting Edge opened the show. They didn't even promote it as so, which kind of sucked. The only thing I liked about the segment, though, was when

Coach went to Vince: "How about we put Cena into a match against Booker T and The Big Show?"

J.R: Why don't you just shoot Cena?

Before I comment on Raw, I'd like to post something relevant that was posted by a columnist at the PW Torch:

Quote:

3. Triple H… yeah

I am really just completely tired of Triple H. The whole DX revival experience has been painful enough, but it's come at what cost? The Spirit Squad was becoming a legitimate heel stable before getting absolutely demolished by DX on more than one occasion. They completely killed off all the tag teams, including the likes of the Highlanders whom WWE attempted to introduce as faces. After all of this, there was nothing left in the heel category outside of the McMahons other than Edge and Randy Orton. After tonight and the upcoming Cyber Sunday show, I'm not so sure we'll have them left as legitimate heels either. I really can't think of too many more scenarios that would be more harmful to Edge than what's been presented in this feud. Orton was not anywhere near the level of Edge at the start of this, and it seems like they're trying to bring Edge to an Orton level as opposed to trying to get them both over. The absolute refusal by Triple H, and some of it is the fault of the writing staff, to legitimately get younger acts over is quickly becoming one of the biggest detriments to the future of the company that he could one day run. Oh, and also, I found Cena's "not worried" promo to be much more effective than Hunter's later in the night.

I couldn't agree more. On to Raw:

1. Why did Vince get so upset with Coach because Raw could potentially lose its title when Vince is the guy that made the damn match in the first place?

2. Is it just me or does the IC Title look shinier than it used to? I've noticed it has been very shiny for the past few weeks. Did they re-do the plates on the belt?

3. Cena's comment about K-Fed's albumb being the bomb used to bomb a country was funny. Cena's comment about Todd liking dudes was not funny.

4. Why does WWE think that Carlito has to be associated with a diva? First Trish now Torrie.

5. I still think the sledgehammer is a bad weapon for the simple fact that Hunter has to cover the hammer part with his hand. A chair is a much more effective weapon in wrestling since you see metal-on-flesh impact.

6. Did the Slaughter/Piper/Rhodes segment give anyone else bad flashbacks of the Diva Search contestant?

7. Why have we seen Triple H vs Orton for three damn weeks in a row?

This show was lackluster and was a horrible way to lead into a Raw PPV. :td:

That guy speaks nothing but the truth. From the beginning, I said to myself Edge would end up looking weak and not like a main eventer anymore, and it would kill Orton's chance to reclaim the main event spot.

Just wait untill Rated RKO wins. Then wha are you gonna have to bitch about. Ohh Im sure you all will find something.

And Im not one to defend Triple H, but he has done alot for the buisness and if he wants to win a few matches then so be it. He hasn't held the title for 19 months. Way too long.

Heh... 19 months ain't nothing compared to what others that deserve the belt are waiting for to get a hold of the top Championship belt of any brand.

It's not that he wins, it's how he wins. Why does every act he faces have to be buried in the process of him winning? He had been doing so well over the past year and a half by putting Batista and Cena (both inferior to Triple H) over. But it seems as if he's went back to his old ways when he turned face in late spring. Now, no matter who faces Triple H (or DX), they'll always come out with so little credibility that it'll take months to bounce back, if they ever even bounce back.

First off, The Spirit Squad.

Everyone hated them. So whats the big deal. And having DX destroy them was the plan to begin there breakup. And when it happens, Kenny will have "bounced back"

I dont think Vinnie Mac lost any credibility in his fued. Also the Game put over Umaga during that fued.

And Edge and Orton will be just fine. I have a feeling that unlike the Mcmahon fued, DX and Rated RKO will split desicions at Cyber Sunday and Survivor Series. And then hopefully Triple H turns heel and goes on to get the title back at Wrestlemania.

You tell me any 2 RAW wrestlers that you would like to see main event Wrestlemania?

This was why I was afraid of Edge pairing up with Orton. Edge had been built up for the last nine months as a solid main eventer. I didn't like him tagging with a loser like Orton, whose career was at a standstill and was doing nothing of value.

I was at least hoping some of Edge's awesomeness and skill would rub off on Orton but that hasn't been the case. If my worst fears come true, it would be the complete opposite, with Orton's nothingness rubbing off on Edge.

I know it's early in the feud but it hasn't been much of one. It has circled on the fact of who to vote for as the special guest referee. Who gives a shit about McMahon, Bischoff, and Coach? We see them almost every week.

I really can't see Rated RKO going over in this feud. They've been made to look like chumps lately. If they do somehow come out on top, I have no problem with eating my words 15 shows. But as of right now, I don't see much hope. :lonely:

No. Spirit Squad was, while hated by most of the IWC, on the verge of being a very credible heel faction. Then they jobbed to DX for months making them look weak. The lowest point of the DX/SS feud was at SNME when the two members of DX defeated the 5 members of SS without SS getting in any credible offense. After that SS drifted around for a while doing nothing until WWE realized that they couldn't rebuild the faction, so now, several months after the DX/SS ended, the SS is breaking up.

And Edge and Orton will be just fine.

I think this week was the tell-tale sign that they won't. Triple H was all alone against both Edge and Orton and still dominated the duo. Triple H should have gotten a massive beat down this week on Raw. That was the way to put Rated RKO over. Instead, he had to hulk up, grab his sledgehammer, and once again over-come the seemingly inescapable odds.

Hmm... seeing as DX and Rated RKO are going... it seems like DX might lose (and split up) to Brothers Of Destruction at Wrestlemania 23. It can happen... just an idea, though.

But DX is supposed to die by Survivor Series... but I've heard that WWE would like to run with DX as much as they can if possible.

Umm, I'm gunna bitch at how Rated RKO will come out on the losing end of the fued, and kill any chance of them getting back into the main event scene anytime soon. 19 months of pure bliss for me, but hearing how much you bitch about Cena, I know it could be tough for you. What has HHH done for the business? Maybe it was around the time I stopped watching.

but hearing how much you bitch about Cena,

And the bad thing is that since turning face, Triple H has been just as bad, if not worse, than Cena ever was. He's doing the same lame cock and gay jokes, he's always winning his matches regardless of the odds, he's utterly unentertaining, and the only group of people that actually likes him anymore are his marks and people under the age of 13

You know, that is completely true. I guess because it's "D-Generation X," nobody outside the IWC (contrary to Cena) actually feels this way. It's showing how mainipulative Trips is with the Booking, even without the belt.

Both. DX and Cena have exactly the same act. The only difference is it's cool to hate Cena. Although, Cena has been more entertaining for the past two weeks since he started the entire aggressive promo deal.

It's actually pretty funny, when you think about it. At the beginning of the Summer, people were buzzing about ECW coming back, D-X returning, and Cena losing the WWE Championship. A mere 3 Months later, ECW has been watered down by WWE, D-X is just plain garbage, and Cena is Champion again. :-/

You think DX is garbage. Doesnt mean it's true. There making money for the big man and that is all that matters. That is all. No more. The happiness of the smarks is the least of anyones concerns. It's just too bad. I hate Cena, but the marks love him. Thus Cena is champion. You all hate DX, but the marks love them. Therefore they are always winning. Neither the marks or the smarks wanted to see Spirit Squad on TV. So they were destroyed. It will NEVER change. So get used to it or don't watch it.

Sad but true. It's come to that point where I have to cut back on watching this stuff, because of people who want something I don't want. In reality, I don't have to get used to it; all I have to do, it simply change the channel.

Agreed. And the Daylight Saving Time thing screwed me up in this way: now, I have to wait until midnight to watch Raw. And the recent episode was dissapointing... so for next Monday, I guess I'll just watch 1 hour and go to sleep then.

There's two things to do:
1) Change the channel.
2) Go to the Raw shows and organize some sort of riot and see if Vince would change some stuff after the riot.
