I've already said in the past I'm more mellow towards Cena. The whole Marine gimic works for him. Even if the WWE is losing money on the movie

That would only hurt you and everyone else "organizing" the riot. It also wouldn't change Vince's mind. All he would do is jam more and more of what you don't like down your throat. And it will never hurt him. |

I'm just glad I downloaded SummerSlam so I can watch Edge punch Cena in the back of the head with brass knuckles; then see the 1-2-3 and then watch half the crowd jumping and cheering in Cena's own hometown, everyday. |

Now, what you mentioned is one reason of why Raw's ratings have lowered, the American Football Season is affecting Raw's ratings. A bit off topic, but I haven't seen 4400TVJunkie roll up a Roundtable PPV thread for Cyber Sunday yet. Now back on topic... if I see Ron Simmons saying "Damn" next week, I might get fed up with it. What's the real purpose of having Simmons on Raw? Will the A.P.A. return one more time? |

Unless it happened at lots of arenas around the world, then I think you would have a better chance of WWE deciding not to come back to your area than you do of Vince changing his product. |

Heh... I know Raw will never ever come to my country if WWE are aware of the videos of the peruvians chanting "John Cena sucks" (rhyming with his theme song) around Youtube. But in my country's case, it would be an issue of money to bring WWE here for a house show. Now that you mention that point, guess we'll never see the Hammerstein Ballroom on any ECW episode, unless it's one Night Stand 2007. |

No, this kid wants to start a riot over WWE. Did this thread just turn into another Cena bash? Nice. It is true though. Marks rule the wrestling world, even if they don't know it. They make some of the biggest decisions of every wrestling promotion and they don't even know it. I think that's one of the reason TNA doesn't pull in big ratings. They don't have what the marks want, gimmicks and bimbos. They appeal to the smarks, but not the marks, and sadly, they make up a majority of the wrestling fans. |

You brought up an interesting point about marks not being aware of the power they have. Also, TNA isn't enough promoted to a mark so they could check it out. But nto all marks want to see bimbos (female marks) and certain gimicks (Eugene's the easiest example). They would always like to see their favourite wrestler be at the top of the game. Which is why Cena is going the way he's going today. But what if a mark gets exposed to wrestling promotions like TNA and ROH? Obviously, the mark will change their views about wrestling and eventually, they can change the way they see a wrestler they like or hate. I think a mark can be educated properly if given to show them videos and material about good pro wrestling. Also, they'll need some concepts about cheering and booing, but that's another story. Heh... we're beyond off topic, really. |

Well when I watch TNA, if those a smarks in the crowd, then the smarks are not lookin like the brightest bunch of people. Because the fans at the TNA shows just seem like a bunch of people who were told what to chant. |

That's because most of what WWE has is crap, nothing worthy of an "Awesome" chant. |

It's that or the crowd doesn't know what to chant. Come on, I've noticed that since One Night Stand 2006, the "You Can't Wrestle" chant has been heard with some frequence on Raw and Smackdown shows or ECW shows (with Smackdown fans), to mention one example. I wonder how did some people came up with the "Power Ranger" chant on MVP, which I've heard also today when I saw Smackdown. |

Yeah, you're right. Instead, they watch ECW One Night Stand PPVs and rip off chants from that event.

... And signs! How many times can I see a "If [insert wrestler's name] wins, we riot", that was cool for ONS, but it just seems lame now. |

I think it worked a bit well on Cena at Unforgiven... but CEna merely got tossed beer in his face while he didn't got objects thrown at him. But it got really lame when on ECW there was a "If Sabu wins, we riot"... that doesn't make sense, unless the dude who brought that sign was a Sabu hater. |
