Show starts with Mysterio coming out on crutches to say goodbye. He is joined in the ring by Chavo and Vicki who bring with them the chair from the I quit match. Chavo signs the chair I quit (which really looked like "I Ouit" to everyone around me, but we shall see.
Chavo ducks a shot from Rey with a crutch and Chavo begins the beatdown that we all knew was coming. Then the other part we all knew was coming happend when Benoit came down and saved the day. Benoit got a good pop though and the crowd clapped as Rey was helped out of the arena.

Video spot of Teddy Long telling Batista that he has to guard King Booker and make sure he gets to Cyber Sunday unscathed with threats of ECW and Raw guys showing up.

Brian Kendrick and Paul London wAshley def. Idol Stevens and K.C. James w/Michelle McCool
The usual goodness. Nothing spectacular. (A match I wasn't too interested in other than checking out Ashley).

Batsista and Booker T vignete with Dave not letting Sharmell go to the bathroom.

Kane and Undertaker def. Kennedy and MVP
This turned out to be three matches in one since Kennedy and MVP kepts running away.
Starts off with Kennedy and MVP not wanting to be in the match and tagging out just to get out of the match. They eventually became fed up and decided to leave. Referee Nick Patrick gave them the 10 count and The Bros. won by countout.

T. Lo. comes out and says match will restart and be no count out and forces Kennedy and MVP back to the ring.
Same type of match as before until Kennedy takes the high road and low blows Kane in front of the ref for the DQ.

Sure enough, T. Lo comes out and says not done yet, match is now no DQ. The bros run down the aisle and get MVP and Kennedy and the match restarts. The Bros one up each other eventually getting to where they do a choke slam simultaneous choke slams. Taker ends the match on a Tombstone to Kennedy.

They hang out in the ring for Takers celebratory pose and Kane does his pyro thing. They both back flip over the top rope and stop on the stage, raising arms together. Place went nuts, obviously biggest pop of the night.

**Why that match was where it was is beyond me because I lost interest the rest of the night**
Because of that and the fact that JBL got up and gave a little talk, the next couple mathes are a little blurry.

Mixed tag match
Miz and Kristal def. Vito and Layla
Kristal pins Layla by holding the tights on a rollup pin. Kristal looked great, hope that translates on TV.

Boogeyman comes out after the match with Miz and Kristal still in the ring. Miz gets away, but Kristal is stuck and Boogeyman gets out the worms and give Kristal a kiss. Great Spot, to a huge pop as well.

Helms def. Jimmy Wang Yang
Helms gets the win after KC James (I think it was him) distracts Yang. Matt Hardy then comes out to even the score as all four go at it.

Lashley def. Jamie Noble with a running powerslam
A quickie with Tatanka standing on the stage from the start with new war paint. He give speech to Lashley afterwards.

Video spot in the Parking lot of Batista taking King Booker and Sharmell to their limo. They get in the car and take off and Bastista fights off guys from ECW and Raw. The Raw guys were Cade and Murdoch, which didn't make sense and I couldnt get a good look at who the ECW guys were.

T. Lo comes out and thanks Bastista and Dave says he wants Finley tonight.

Batista hits the ring (huge pop) and calls out Finley. Finley comes out, but stays on ramp, and heads for the curtain. He must have stayed just beyond the curtain because as Bastista gets there he comes back and they being to brawl.

Refs get between them, but they break free a couple times before being broken up for good.

I think this is where they stopped taping because T. Lo comes out and says the main event is Bastista against Finley in a no DQ match.

That was the cue for the Little Bastard to come out as Tony Chimmel and the timekeeper start throwing stuff under the ring and a camera man pokes his head under there.

Sure enough he pops out and goes after Dave giving Finley the upper hand.

Momentum swings back and forth with them battling around the announce table and then back in the ring.

The finish starts when Finley hits Batista with the sheleleigh in the leg, but Dave kicks out. Finley then throughs three chairs in the ring and Dave catches one.

They hit chairs and Batsista build momentum. Don't know if that shot to the leg did anything as he finished Finley off with a Jackhammer suplex for the 1-2-3. The place went nuts and ended the show.

Wow, I didn't actually think everybody on the internet would be right about this. How predictable. :tired:

I want to see those guys try to jump Booker, it sounds funny.

More Eddie goodness, yay.

Why did WWE feed Mister Kennedy and MVP to Kane and Taker? Kennedy and MVP didn't get anything from this match. They came out looking less credible on the main event level than they were before, not that either were close to being main event level. The match wouldn't have been so bad if Kennedy and MVP got in more offense, but most of the time they spent running away like pussies. I think it did more harm to Kennedy than it did to MVP since they have been positioning Kennedy as one of the draws for the blue brand.

King Booker was funny throughout the night. My favorite line was when Batista was walking out to get some water, Booker grabbed him, dropped the king gimmick and spoke like he used to and said "yo, you get me one". That was funny. I also enjoyed Booker not cluing in that Sharmell didn't need to "Powder her nose".

I don't think anyone has commented on this, but do you think WWE will ever decide which move Lashley will use as a finisher. First he used the Dominator, then he used the spear, then he used the torture rack into a back breaker thing, now he's doing the Bulldog powerslam. Why do they keep changing it?

It's a fabulous new day, yes it is!
First of all, the show ended with the security holding Batista and Finlay... so the match described above was a dark match. Damn.

Smackdown was between slightly regular and good. Best part for me was watching Taker and Kane together again.

However, I found it quite funny that Chavo wrote on the chair "I quit". And Eddie's storyline continues with Benoit... heh.

London/Kendrick vs James/Stevens... Hooliganz were as always: great. But I wonder who will snatch the belts from them.

And as for the BOD vs Kennedy/MVP... it wasn't bad to me. I felt entertained. Hell, if you could see Kane, he was really having a blast during the semi-squash match. I think Glenn Jacobs enjoyed this moment more than Callaway, really. I was happy to see them again. *feels like a mark*

That's really true. Even if Kennedy made more offensive than MVP and MVP showed a little more than he used to show, I think that the first half of the 3 matches (although WWE.com considered the result as one only, the victory) killed them, especially Kennedy, who was proving to be a more solid performer. However, I think this might not be the end between the 4.

The Batista and Booker segments were funny.

Helms might have beaten Jimmy Wang Yang, but they're still running the Hardy/Helms feud. Next week, I guess it's Hardy with Yang vs Sylvan and Helms.

Miz and Kristal vs Vito and Layla only made me think that Kristal's hot, the end of the match was pretty dumb (the way Layla impacted into the turnbuckle) and there might be a Miz/Boogeyman feud. Damn.

Lashley/Noble... meh. But Tatanka's paint on his face reminded me of two things:
1-Sting.
2-Kiss.

If that Batista vs Finlay match would have happened, I think Smackdown could have ended better.

Oh and the ECW attackers were Knox and Dupree. Cade and Murdoch from Raw were there as well.

His spear didn't look to impressive when you compare it to Edge's or Goldberg's. I guess the Dominator didn't look too powerful. I won't be surprise if he start's doing the F-5 soon.

I really liked what they did with the whole BOD reunion. They built them up as huge powers, and they presented them that way. The match(es) were very well built, with both Kennedy and MVP playing solid heels trying to get away from them. The only way they got offense in was when they used an illegal manuver, which really does make sense, especially accounting how big of a "Power" the Brothers of Destruction is. You could tell they were having fun (especially Kane) teaming up. When Undertaker was setting up for a move, and Kane came in with the big Boot, his reaction was priceles.

I don't think it makes Kennedy or MVP look bad at all, though. When it's over, they lost to a very strong team; it's not like they lost a match to the Spirit Squad or something...

It looked powerful enough. It's even better than Ron Simmons' Dominator.

Why not give Lashley the Death Valley Driver?

SmackDown on CW continues go up in the ratings as last night's show did a 2.9 fast national rating, with a 5.0 share. The show opened with a 2.7 first hour, then finished with a 3.1 rating. That put CW in fourth place for the night as they beat out Fox. Last week's show drew a final rating of 2.8. The final number for the 11/3 show will be out next week.

Now that I think about it... it's quite logical to see Kennedy and MVP running away from such a powerful team as Kane and Undertaker would be. If they had already problems dealing with one on their own, imagine the two together, hell broke loose.

Let me find something from this thread:

He's playing his part well as the chickenshit heel. The fans are already reacting to him as evidenced by these chants he's recieving. MVP has got a bright future ahead of him if he's used properly.

Now that works well on MVP. But it did made harm on Kennedy as Cybrus pointed out before, given how Kennedy was being used on Smackdown. Now going back on the chickenshit heel thing... heels have done that before, avoiding the rival who is in the ring. Edge has run away from Cena before, Cena being a wrestler who compared to Taker or Kane, isn't someone who one should fear (even if WWE portrays him as a superwrestler) and run away from. Hell, even Orton did that with Hogan (and Hogan's pretty old)... but that thing about "running away and look like a pussy" can be understood if one would face "monsters".

And Smackdown got good ratings again. :D
