PWInsider.com is reporting that World Wrestling Entertainment issued a survey out to fans via the company's e-mail subscription service asking for feedback on PPV viewership and what other PPV events they order besides WWE.

One portion of the survey asks fans how many WWE PPV's they have ordered in the last year, why they did (or even did not) and if the PPV orders have increased or decreased in the last year. Fans were also asked what would help them buy future PPV events and were asked to order the following in order of importance: Main event participants, under-card matches, co-branded events, stipulation matches and the historical significance of events (such as WrestleMania, SummerSlam, etc.).

WWE fans were also asked about the possibility of PPV's airing on days other than Sunday and in earlier timeslots such as Noon-4pm and 4pm-8pm. One of the questions also asked if a change of timeslots would matter when it came to ordering the "Big Four" PPV events that the company promotes every year. Feedback on the possibility of WWE launching a PPV "buyers club" was also brought up where frequent PPV buyers could receive benefits such as free gifts, merchandise discounts, early live event purchases and more.

One of the more interesting things in the survey had to do with non-WWE PPV events. WWE asked fans in the survey what other types of events they order throughout the year listing boxing, MMA (UFC and K-1 were choices), music and other competing wrestling organizations such as TNA Wrestling and Ring of Honor. Many found the ROH choice as interesting since the company has never ran a PPV event, let alone a TV taping.
