As we all know by now, Big Show will be defending his ECW World Title against five other competitors at the upcoming December To Dismember pay-per-view in an Extreme Elimination Chamber Match. Thus far, Big Show, Rob Van Dam, Sabu and CM Punk (he defeats Knox next week) are scheduled to compete in the match. That leaves two spots open, which will likely go to Test and Hardcore Holly.

As reported earlier, The Big Show has been hurting to say the least. He's had to be taken off several weekend house shows in the past few weeks because he's in so much pain these days. When he does compete, its primarily in tag matches so that he doesn't have to do much. Due to the Big Show's lingering injuries, plans are being made for him to lose the title at December To Dismember.

One person you can count out on winning the title is Rob Van Dam. Vince McMahon is adamant about not giving the title to RVD after his recent drug arrest because he feels he can't count on him anymore. Van Dam is said to be in a major funk because he knows he pretty much ended any chances he had of being the top guy with his drug arrest. So with RVD out of the picture, just who will be awarded the title?

Well, the current plan is for Andrew "Test" Martin to win the ECW Championship at the December To Dismember PPV. WWE is well aware that he isn't their ideal option, but McMahon refuses to give it to RVD. With the exception of perhaps Sabu or Hardcore Holly, there's nobody else that could be a viable option at this point. CM Punk isn't ready for the time being, nor do they want to rush him into the role just yet. So well, the title will likely go to Test.

Why not give it to Sabu? Vince doesn't supened him, but he doesn't get the title either? What bullshit! I'm so damn angry about this. I've come to terms as why Big Slow won it, but why Test? What the hell has Test done besides that storyline with Steph and that match with Holly? Nothing! He's better used now as heel for the midcarders, but not the champ.

I know, dude. Just that until reading that, I had thought that RVD would regain his title.

If Test wins, this would be his biggest win in his career.

...But why would they put the title on Test? The highest title he has reached in his entire carreer is the Intercontinental Championship... And now they're putting the World title on him?

Because Test has the look of one of their future champions. I think the WWE was going through the same thing when they first considered Orton to be champ

All hail King Booker!
Test is so hated and is by far the most over heel on the brand so I could see why it's possible for him being ECW champ soon. Doesn't mean I have to like it though.

If ECW is around in the next couple of years, I could see RVD winning it then.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that despite some recent internet reports claiming otherwise, Test is not scheduled to win the ECW World Title at the ECW December to Dismember PPV on December 3. Plans can always change, but as of now that is not the plan. Although no official decision has been made about the winner, Rob Van Dam appears to be the top candidate.

Hmm, I still have my eye on Test, though if there's any hope for WWECW, then RVD should walk away with the belt.

Some other wrestling websites credited Bryan Alvarez's Figure Four Weekly Newsletter with the news as fact, when Alvarez simply speculated Test might win. Although no official decision has been made about the winner, Rob Van Dam appears to be the top candidate.

Test will "officially" qualify for the Extreme Elimination Chamber on this week's edition of ECW on Sci Fi on Tuesday night.

Wrong.

Hmm, things could still change, such as Cena was to walk out of ONS II still champ, but it was changed before the PPV, and Edge winning at NYR was planned that very afternoon.
