A bit of information there. In a nutshell, Somalia is trying to set up a government which hasn't existed for about ten years. Ethiopia, a neighbouring country has entered to secure the country and to help the government set up. Problem is, that Ethiopia isn't exactly a country showered in riches, so it can't afford to keep their troops there for much more than two weeks. I recall SRP once blabbering on about how great the US was for always helping countries out when in crisis. Well so far, we have the Darfur situation sitting stagnant like it's been for about 2 years, and now this. The high time would be now...

Wow.

I sat back to give everyone else a chance to post before turning this into an argument thread. Nobody posted!

Well, on to matters:

No, not even close in that quote. That quote just illustrates the behavior I was talking about here:

Let the rest of the world fend for itself, for a change.

Everyone always likes to run down the United States, but, when some shit happens, we're always the first suckers on the block that everyone turns to, and says, "handle this". That needs to stop. If the rest of the world can do better, let's see it.

Instead of talking shit, step up. We're out of it, so there's no excuse.

Come on, Australia! Earth is counting on you! Don't let us down...

This is the part were Neb tells us that the population in his country is too small to make an impact in the grand scheme of things yet we should still care about what he thinks.

Clearly, Australia is kinda too small to make a difference. I've said it before and I'll say it again, America sits on top of the chain of command in the world. Clearly, to anyone with any trace of a brain (which Madness clearly has genetic issues with), one would expect that before Australia, America might do something about it. I mean, when you're the most powerful kid in the playground, instead of bullying other countries around and not helping out the little guy, one might think that the big kid might help out the little guy...or something like that. Obviously though, those type of logical and fair thoughts are lost with our good friends here.
