Thought this could be cool, showing people the type of area you live in...via map. Feel free to post random images of random crap for the hell of it.

Yeah, my house is in there somewhere. It looks kinda dry...and it is. That brown stuff that looks like dirt is actually grass, but it's dry as hell, at least it was when the photo was taken.

That's Camden. Same problem. Kinda a bummish town really. :P

That's Sydney. How about that!

I managed to find Mt. Everest on Google Earth with an atlas, and a bit of knowledge about mountain ranges. Finding Everest is actually considerably harder than finding K2 and the rest of the mountains on the Baltoro Glacier in Pakistan.

A placemark identifies Area 51 when you first install Google Earth. Of course, the chances of you finding your house are subject to whether they're installed high-def images of your city on Google Earth yet. I know that practically the entirity of the US is on there now.

I don't debate. I'm always right.
Why not try www.flashearth.com

No downloads...and fairly good views.

I always though Rockhampton was a few shacks in the middle of a rainforest. How wrong I was. :P
