STAY HYPED!!!
I bought myself a new truck this weekend. Well, not a brand new truck. I would never pay that much money for something that is going to depreciate in value so greatly literally the second I drive it out of the dealership parking lot. So I bought myself a slightly used truck, but it is still new to me. It is a black 2004 Dodge Ram. That's not why I am an idiot.

I bought the truck at the end of the dealership's sale day, so the dealership let me take the truck home with me that night and I was to bring it back the next day to finish the paper work and for them to fill the truck with my free tank of gas. At this point, it wasn't my truck yet so I didn't put the key on my keyring. Even after I signed the papers and drove off the dealership, I still didn't think of putting the key on my keyring.

I drove to work this morning, in my typical fashion. Traffic wasn't bad this morning, so I actually got there a bit early. I sat in my truck listening to the radio for a bit before going in. A song that I liked a lot came on, and I ended up sitting in my truck a bit longer than I would have liked to. I wasn't late walking in, but I was feeling a bit rushed. So I turned my radio off, collected my work stuff, grabbed my keys, locked my truck up tight, and went to work.

After my shift ended, I went to my truck to go home. I reached in my pocket for my keys and pulled out my keyring. I looked for my truck key on my ring, I guess out of force of habit, then realized that I had yet to put the damn key on there. I checked my pockets for the individual set of keys to the truck, but couldn't find them. I checked my work things to see if I put them there, but I hadn't. I was just about to walk back inside to check my work desk, when I stopped short, looked up (for what reason, I do not know) and said "oh fuck, I didn't". I walked back to my truck, looked through the window, and saw that I did in fact leave my truck keys inside the truck! What an idiot!

Luckily, I had not latched the back window. Sure, I looked like a fool trying to squeeze through that little as window, but I got in!
