For the past 10 years I've gone to many many concerts, seen some of my favorites plenty of times while meeting a good majority of them.

However over the last couple years, I've kinda slowed down on going so much, it was probably do to me not really having money to really go, still whenever I could, I'd get enough to go to see bands like Korn, Deftones, Nothingface, Mudvayne and even Tool.

Over the past 6 months I have established enough funds to go to some of the best concerts I have in awhile, it could be do to the bands that really I thought to have not come here that much are all coming around the same time, or within a small timeframe.

Starting in september of last year, I went to see Tool who if you're a fan know how awesome and very close to cd sounding their live perfomances can be, but better.

Those are the bands that I truely enjoy is if you can sound like you did on my player live, I of course would much rather seeing some of my favorites play live everyday then just what I do on their cd but you can't get all that.

December I went to a sold out Deftones show that was really great, alot of old stuff was played which if you had listened to their old stuff compared to the stuff now, it's much more to get into, I've noticed though there were alot of people that did'nt know half the stuff they were playing which is I guess good for them, getting that new base audience but if they only seen them earlier and listened as much as others have then they'd know how much it means to see them.

Or any band that plays their older stuff that is'nt to relevant to the newer stuff from bands, bands have to change though but I don't think it has to be that much, just enough to make it sound better than the album or songs put out before but keeping the same elements that made them what they are now or even before.

Now I've grown up as I mentioned plenty of times on alot of classic rock, old school rap/r&b and others genre's but something about listening to metal gets me in the mood to want to get ready for wherever it is I'm going, or some could just be laid back.

The thing about metal is that there are alot of different types, I prefer the melodic side of things but I can listen to some Pantera, Lamb Of God and even Metallica.

Speaking of which, just next week I'll be going to see a really good band that I have'nt yet which should be fun, for they are playing two nights in a row, then at the end of the month I'll be going to one of the best concerts of the year and probably in a long time because of the bands that are playing.

I usually get an extra ticket just in case a friend of mine wants to go but if not then I'll just sell it at the show and jam by myself, it's not like I'll be the only one who is listening to what I enjoy.

Hell I went to the first Pledge Of Allegiance tour by myself with SOAD, American Head Charge, No One and Slipknot which is still one of the best concerts I think I went to, well maybe for that year.

During the course of the year, there will also be a supergroup coming out that I mentioned which I will be seeing and the much anticipated new albums from Nothingface and Mudvayne should be coming soon aswell following Hell Yeah who I was just talking about.

Plus there is talks of them going on tour together and if that happens, pure fucking kickass metal will blow the doors off any of this poppy bullshit that plays on the radio and Mtv everyday. Posers.

That's the thing I like though about who I listen to is they stand out and are among the elite not needing radio time, or not alot.

It all depends on what way anyone looks at what's reasonable for them to listen to also though I guess.

Aslong as there are great bands that still should be recognized and I'm still around, I'll be listening.

Thanks for your time and KEEP IT METAL!
