The Man. Any Questions?
|
Terry Taylor/Red Rooster? It has to be him, it wasn't Rude, Andre, Bundy, Studd, Orndorff, Barbarian, Arn and Tully, Haku, or any of the others... |

I don't debate. I'm always right.

Nope. One final clue. This should give it away. Upon one of his face turns, he threw Heenans money in to the crowd. |

My final guess is Ravishing Rick Rude. I was going to guess him second, but you said no when SRP mentioned his name previously, although I guess technically he didn't say Rude as a guess.

The Man. Any Questions?

I don't recall any of those guys having themes. Wait, wait. Big John Studd when he returned in 1988. He had music, and a run-in with Heenan...money thrown, like "completing the circle" for WrestleMania? I'll go with Studd. |

Geez. I hope I don't have this listing wrong. On My PC...that theme is listed as Andres theme. I don't usualy mark them down wrong. With that said...Andre must have used it at least once. I know, cause I ripped most of them from old video tapes. Anyway..This is the theme I have for Studd. I know it's right. http://www.supload.com/listen?s=ScbT_06u3ci |

Heh...they do sound a lot alike, like you said. I don't remember Andre EVER having a theme. He didn't have one at his last match (WrestleMania VI), so I don't see where he could have used a theme. Plus, what's this about money? When he turned face (at the same WrestleMania) the only thing he threw was Heenan's ass, not his money. Oh, just as a pleasant diversion, I'll offer this theme. It's easy to get, so it isn't a "guess who" thing. I just think it's one of the 10 best ever: Right Here. |

Demolition So you don't remember when Heenan slapped Andre across the face (in the ring)...then Andre grabbed Heenan. Bobby then ran out of the ring, but forgot the black bag with the money in it. Andre then proceeded to throw the money to the crowd. |

Wasn't he in the corner of someone at one Wrestlemania and met up with Heenan after the match was over? My memory is fuzzy at the moment (as is obvious by my last 3 or 4 posts in this thread) but I'm sure I remember something like that. Maybe he was in the corner of a tag team that was going against one of Heenan's team? |

The Man. Any Questions?

Yes, indeed. Still a great theme for wrestling. EDIT- About the "in-corner" things: He was in the Bushwhackers' corner for a match at least once, but I don't remember the opponent. He was in somebody else's corner for a one-on-one that I recall, but that was against Sgt. Slaughter, Heenan nowhere around. Other than that, there was the interview where Earthquake attacked him, and his run-in for Bossman against Mr. Perfect at WrestleMania VII. That's all the Andre appearances I can remember post-WMVI, at the moment. EDIT again:
There was no black bag. That was at the first WrestleMania, when Andre faced Studd. If Andre bodyslammed Studd, he'd win $15,000 of Heenan's money (which Heenan brought down in the black bag). Obviously, Andre won. He then proceeded to get the bag, and start tossing cash around MSG. After a moment, Heenen sneaked back into the ring, and snatched the bag from Andre from behind, and ran. The face turn at WrestleMania VI was when Andre wasn't in the ring the whole match, and Demolition beat Haku for the Tag Title. That's when Heenan got all crazy and slapped Andre. Andre then beat Heenan up, and whipped Haku's ass for good measure. |

Wait, I know what I was thinking about. I confused it with when Hogan & Brutus beat Money Inc at WM and tossed IRS's money to the crowd.

That's the only way to go, if you happen to have original VHS of those WrestleManias. The new reprinted DVDs have the distracting blur-out bullshit, and likely chop out a whole bunch of the show. I'd rather have the uncut versions. Actually, even the old Coliseum Video releases chopped out parts of WrestleManias! I had watched WMVI on PPV, then rented the video a few months later. Surprise, surprise. I noticed they had cut about 5 minutes out of the Koko B. Ware vs. Rick Martel match! Now, that may not seem like anything, but I'm a firm believer in staying faithful to the original product. Especially for the WM shows, they should NEVER cut things out; it should present the exact same show that the PPV audience saw. |
