London Almost Fired; Over Survivor and Death

Paul London has been telling his close friends that he was almost fired by WWE management last week after allowing the Ashley Massaro/Survivor information to get out.

What happened is that London ran into a fan at a Texas-based airport (close to where London lives) a little over two weeks ago. They talked for a few minutes and London mentioned that Ashley was "suspended" because she was going to take time off to be on CBS's Survivor. The fan posted his experience online, including the mention of Ashley going to Survivor, and well the news regarding that quickly spread online. Apparently, Ashley vouched for Paul to management and claimed he would have never intentionally leaked the confidential information.

If that wasn't enough, London had a huge smile on his face when all the WWE talent were present during Vince's final walk to his limousine. All of the WWE talent were told to treat the situation as serious and real, while London was doing anything but. Vince was furious at London afterwards, just adding depth to the hole of heat London finds himself in.

The latter issue was pretty interesting. I remember King mentioned that on RAW, and I would have never expected that was actually a cover-up; I just thought it was some sort of thing where London (in character) was actually supposed to do that.

It was fucking hilarious that London has that HUGE smile on this face. I thought it was planned since King mentioned it this past week, but I guess not.

The Man. Any Questions?
I have no clue what that's getting at. He was smiling when Vince was about to die? So what? Are they trying to say everyone should have been all down, because everyone knew he was going to croak? That doesn't make sense at all.

I think everyone was supposed to be in dismay because Vince had gone so "crazy" recently

They told everyone to treat it as if it was real...maybe he was. Maybe the thought of Vince losing his mind made Paul smile.

Seems like London is in serious hot water. First he's threatened for doing a 450 Splash. Now this info comes out. If he's not careful, he'll be finding himself in the unemployment line soon.

Some people do smile in awkward situations. It's pretty funny though

At first I thought it was his lip or something, because of the beard

It's a fabulous new day, yes it is!
The beard makes it more hilarious.

Strangely enough, it reminds me of Dave Grohl. :S

how many people would've bothered to notice London's "smile", if WWE kept quiet about this? by making it into a big deal, WWE is drawing more attention to it then they probably want.

i didn't even think about it, until i heard that London was in trouble over this.

I suggest that London should shit in a purse and on the double.

I agree with Storm. I didn't actually notice the smile (as in, it didn't stand out to me) until King mentioned it on RAW. I guess they're now making his mistake into a plot, so it might turn out okay for him.

How many times do we have to say it? He was trying to connect it to the celing so he can lay down and watch TV, but it fell and he miraculously caught it. He's a hero!

No you wouldn't. Just like how you were going to stop watching wrestling if Cena stayed champ longer than 18 months, or if Vince McMahon became Champion. It's a horrible disease. Even if it's really bad, you still have to watch it to complain about it.

Congrats, then. You weren't infested with it. Even if the show completely sucks, I still have to watch at least one wrestling show per week, whether it be new or from a DVD. It's taken over my life!

I never said I'd stop watching it over either of those events, so you shouldn't be saying anything to me. Even if he did get fired, he would move to ROH or TNA immediately.

I was off of wrestling from January to March this year. That's why I wasn't on this site for the first quarter :P

You're right. I don't know anything about gay porn talent. So, I'll take your word on it. :tu:

If you meant talent as in great "dick-sucking" talent then I would agree.

Randy can't hold a candle to Paul London.

Which reminds me. I was reading Shawn Michaels' book, and he was talking about posing for Playgirl. At first, he thought it was for women, as in, the opposite of Playboy, but at a book signing, mostly men wearing leather came up to him asking for his autograph.
