I began crying right after Chavo's speech. Edge's was really hard to watch, as well. Benoit touched all of our lives and he will never be forgotten.

Oh, right. Austin was the first one. I didn't actually think there that many videos, but I guess when they're spread out for three hours, it doesn't seem like much.

STAY HYPED!!!
I didn't get to watch the show live, so I recorded it. The tape ended right when Benoit won the World Title. I was hoping to get to see the Benoit/Eddie scene one more time, but I ran out of tape. I was going to catch the replay on Mun2 this weekend, but I think WWE is going to pull the tribute show from all replays. Damn it to hell.

The show ended at 11:07, so it cut off that scene. I had my DVR scheduled to end at 11:05, so I had to record the first few minutes of Law & Order just so I could get the ending. Hey, though, that was history; it was the tribute show to what we now know is a murderer. Nobody, other than the few hundred thousand that recorded it will ever see it again.

I recorded it on DVR. I'll put it on tape, and see it infinity more times just so one day if WWE says they never had a Benoit trubute, I'll put it in their faces, and say they did.

I just want to say something interesting: I was a bit curious what WWE would do with the Mun 2 replay of RAW, so I taped the first few minutes of it. It started off with a message from Vince McMahon (similar, but a bit different than the ECW message; it says "A recent edition of RAW," and not last night's RAW) then went to what I guess was a recorded backstage episode, where Todd Grisham was in a studio. He announced that this show was special, because it displayed the best Championship matches in the past year. It started off with Undertaker vs. Batista from WrestleMania 23.

I agree. And other douchbag honorable mentions go out to:

Chaingangmaster and TOAL.

Shut the fuck up.

In all this drama, we never did find out what the ratings were.

I forgot where, but I did catch the ratings. Even if you cut off the first hour, it was still around what they were normally getting. And if i'm not mistaken, together it was a 3.8 rating, which was surprising for a tribute show. (Remember, Eddie Guerrero's tribute show got the highest rating since going back on USA with a 4.5, and Owen Hart's tribute show got the highest overall (not segment) rating ever on cable somewhere in the 7's.)

What the hell? I'm just saying that I'm glad I have this show to look back on to remember Chris Benoit. I'm gonna keep this show forever.

Oh you have no right to call someone a douchebag Jimmy. I recorded this so I can see it again. for those who didn't record it, there's a possibility they won't see it again.

EDIT: Edge was on the verge of crying. Almost made me cry aswell.

I openly recorded the show, then recorded it onto DVD for sentimental purposes. There will be no mention of this show, and its contents ever again, so for whoever actually has this on tape, they certainly have something unique. Plus, it'll probably be worth a lot of money one day...

Without the 8:00 hour, I'm sure it got a low 4 in its normal timeslot.

The thing about it is the news didn't really break until an hour or so before the show aired for the general public. So, most people didn't realize anything different other than regular wrestling was coming on. If they had a day to learn the new, the ratings would have jumped like they did for ECW.

True, I started watching Raw at 9.
