Raw returns to its regular time of 9/8 CT on USA Network as the flagship emanates from the American Airlines Center in Dallas.

Big news from the desk of executive assistant Jonathan Coachman: He has scheduled a Vengeance: Night of Champions rematch for Raw, as Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella will again face the Samoan Bulldozer, Umaga.

Their match at Vengeance was stopped by the referee, as Umaga brutalized the Milan Miracle and was disqualified for ignoring the referee's five-count.  The beating continued post-match, as the super-heavyweight crushed the ribs of the champion with a splash from the top rope.

Will Marella manage to rebound and keep the miracle alive Monday night, or will Umaga once again wear Intercontinental gold? Tune in at 9/8 CT on USA Network to find out.

I expect a good episode this week....maybe.

Umaga is one of those wrestlers who should not hold a title, so I see him getting DQ'd again.

So I guess this means that the Death angle is over then?

It became over when Vince appeared on screen and said they were going to honor Benoit's death instead of furthering his alleged death.

I wonder if they will comeout with an explanation like Vince says "My plan worked and I know who hates me now" or if they will just ignore it all together and Vince will return in 6 months like nothing happened?

Good question. He might just drop it altogether since he came out last week.

It's not like it was months in either.

I'll that that for the win. :tu:

I'm really hoping Marella doesn't drop his belt on RAW. I'd be reallly ticked off.

It's a fabulous new day, yes it is!
Marella bores me and is not interesting so far. If Umaga wins the belt, hopefully somebody gets a push out of beating Umaga.

Most likely, Santino retains via DQ.

I loved the pro-Umaga crowd at Vengeance, though.

Preach it, brotha! He is one of the most uninteresting things in all of WWE right now. He is just so boring to watch. I'd rather watch Eugene than him in the ring.

All hail King Booker!
Marella is very green in the ring with a vanilla gimmick. And it seems like he's not over with the crowd as I've read about him being booed at house shows. Let this guy go, he's not going anywhere.

I still don't get the concept of trying to pair wrestlers up with the women. Just to make it seem they contribute something?

Because women are nice to look at and hopefully fans will pop for the wrestler they accompany by association.

Because when a wrestler's boring, the women play perfect distractions to take your eye off a bad wrestler, a la Marella.

I can't believe I am about to say this, but the same thing happened to the Rock in the beginning. He was a vanilla face with no personality. Then he turned heel and got one. They should do that with Marella...The F.B.I. is calling him...

Well, there's Little Guido, who they're calling Nunzio again. Big Guido, Tony Mamaluke and Trinity are gone, Chuck Palumbo's wrestling house shows, I have no clue where Johnny the Bull is and Vito was last seen wrestling in a dress on tv.

Hey Super Marella! It's calling you!

All Marella needs to do is show some damn moves. How many times can he win with the roll-up?

You give the man a better gimmick than the one he has now and he'll be going places...

Let see, not counting house shows...Umaga, Masters, and Umaga again so that's three. :P

Isn't that the same video they played when HHH was going to make his first comeback from his first quad tear?

Santino needs a Super Mario gimmick.

Maria would be the Princess, from the original Nintendo games, right?

also, who gets to play the role of Luigi?

All hail King Booker!
RAW was super solid this week...

-Marella drops the IC title to Umaga...Thank goodness.

-Regal would be a great GM/Executive Assistant for RAW. I just hope we're lucky and he gets to replace Coach.

-King Booker was all kinds of awesome tonight. Did you all see the facial expression he made when Shelton kissed his ring? Classic.

-Lashley wasn't God-awful on the mic. Dare I say he's getting better? :eyebrow: It's scary but I'm starting to take a liking to him. Just a bit.

-WWE really needs to stop over scripting Cena. It's downright terrible what he's made to say. He just doesn't do well with the overly scripted "jokes". For someone like Christian, he plays it off well because....well he's just awesome like that. :P But for Cena, it comes across as so fake. They need to let him be the guy he was a few years ago....HIMSELF!

-Lashley spears Cena to end the show...great ending! I don't know if it's just me but it always seems like Cena starts out looking like the biggest fool in the company. He starts a new feud, praises the hell out of his opponent with the "You're a great athelete, I respect you" routine and then ends up eating it afterwards via a Superkick, Spear, or whatever. That's his reward for being respectful. Looks like he needs to cut that shit out and stop being the nice guy. These guys don't want to be BFF. They want your title, doofus.

Overall, good rebound show after a week or so of hell.
