Cena Sneakers

Those shoes look like little more than generic children's shoes. Switch Cena's face/symbol and the WWE logo with Spider-Man or a Power Ranger and it would be hard to ever tell they were Cena shoes.

I can't believe they didn't add pumps, though. How can you have John Cena shoes without the one feature that makes John Cena's actual shoes memorable or recognisable?

What is so different from a guy wearing shoes with his face on it and a guy wearing a shirt with his face on it?

And your point is? I hope your point isn't that Cena doesn't wear shirts with his face on it. Because if that is your point, then I'll point out that I said "a guy" and not Cena specifically. Lots of wrestlers have had shirts with their faces on them and have worn them to the ring. No one has thought anything was odd about it. What would be so different if a wrestler started wearing shoes with his face on them?

If you had no point and was just posting a picture for picture's sake, then, whatever.

He was obviously demonstrating that the Bulldog was Cena's "face," in turn, saying that he was as ugly as a bulldog. How can you not get that?

As for the topic, I guess it depends in what sense the face is used. I know I have a few shirts that have people's face on them, (Jimmie Johnson, mostly) where he's either holding something up, or posing to the camera. That works fine for me, since shirts are something where you can express that; they can have either words or faces on it, and it works. But shoes work with age. Shoes with pictures on them are solely based for children, just like the light-up shoes. So to have John Cena's face on a shoe makes the obvious impression that they're kid sneakers.

I'd agree with that. Cena's biggest sellers are kids that want to do what he does and be like him. If they see Cena wearing Cena shoes, then they'll want to buy Cena shoes. Cena would be advertising his stuff every time he came out (stating the obvious, I know)

It's a fabulous new day, yes it is!
From wearing Adidas to this shit... shows you how much Cena has devaluated. If Cena goes goth, kids go goth too, i guess.

Now thats just crazy, I would never do that, thats just saying in the beginning of 2007 when Cena had the marine gimmick I didn't see no kids wanting to join the Army or to have a dog-tag saying me and cena forever.
