- The day that WWE received word about the Benoit family tragedy, they were preparing for a big RAW in Texas that night that would see the funeral for Vince McMahon. Here are some scary but ironic details from that night:

- Daniel Beck was scheduled to arrest Linda McMahon on the show and proclaim her a murder suspect.

- All WWE superstars were told to bring black suits with them for the "funeral."

- As WWE creative were in the process of scripting eulogies, the sheriff's office called around 4pm to inform WWE about the Benoit deaths.

- The RAW set was already decorated with a casket and a hearse and WWE were setting up memorial photos and candles for Vince.

- A choir was booked for the show and flowers and wreaths were being brought into the arena. Obviously, a huge funeral was being planned for that night.

Source: Wrestling Observer.

That is rather Ironic to say the least.
