I'm taking a break from now until I finish reading Harry Potter. See ya!

Should I be voted off my team in LPS, then:

IF I can use one of my tickets at any point in the game (meaning that two weeks or so down the line, I can still enter back into the competition), then do not use a ticket.\

IF I must use a ticket immediatley to stay in the game, then use one of my tickets to keep me there (obviously).

By the way, the publisher of the US Harry Potter series (scholastic I think) issued a subpoena to get the person who leaked the entire book onto the internet. Lol to that person then. LOL LOL LOL.

The Man. Any Questions?
What a Harry mark!

No, you don't have to use them right away. You just get forced back in if you request the new password to get into the gameroom (you hear that, TOAL?). No weasel behavior allowed.

The only problem would be if you're a slow reader, and the game concludes before you return.

Leaving the forum to read Harry Potter? That's hilarious! Here I was thinking you had taken offense to something posted somewhere and was quitting the forums and I come into the thread to see you are just going to read Harry Potter.

So, was it a good book? Were you happy or disappointed with the ending?

I loved it to pieces. It was superbly written. I do not often laugh out loud, get incredibly frustrated and angry, or cry at books but for this one I did all three. It brought out all emotions, it concluded an epic saga, it answered all questions, it was just an awesome, awesome book.

As for the page number, it would be a little irrelevant. Mine was British, yours would be American. It was about 700 or so I think...

759 for Americans.

Taking time off at the end of this week again to avoid Simpsons Movie spoilers btw. I rather like not using the internet for days on end.

Oh for the love of...

Listen, I'll explain it slowly for those of you who are a little slow to catch on. Here, I'll do it in point form since you're all so slow to pick up on something so blatantly obvious.

1. I was fearful that spoilers would reach me via the internet.
2. I decided not to visit any of my usual websites, because I knew that they could not be trusted. I refered to this, as "leaving the internet", or whatever, because that's what it was (after all, if I wasn't visiting my normal websites, then I wouldn't be using the internet)
3. I read the book.
4. I went back to my regular sites, and saw that EVERY SINGLE ONE had spoilers ON THE WEBSITE, INCLUDING 6SW! THIS PROVES THAT MY ACTIONS WERE WISE! I WAS CORRECT

Do you understand now, young Kametsou and MY85, or do you want me to explain it again, and again, and again...

I'm seriously thinking about buying the collection when it comes out in September. I'm going to have to do a bit of pricing and see which is cheaper. I'm thinking the set is more expensive since you get a box to hold your books in. Either way, I'm almost thinking of skipping the first three books since I've seen the movies. People tell me that the books are "better than the movies!", but I dunno. We'll have to see how it goes when I get the books.

Welcome back, I guess, and goodbye again when you leave on your Simpsons' related sabbatical.

I saw the second movie (Chamber of Secrets, I think it was) and I wasn't really too into it. I don't know, maybe the book is different, but I just never got into the series.

Noooooo! Make sure you read the first three books. There's stuff in there that's vastly, vastly important to the last few books that you'll miss. Read them!
