I'm still reading Dante's Inferno. It's taken me forever to read cause I just don't make time to do so. Supposedly there's going to be a movie based on it. |

Star Wars: The Cestus Deception. I finished about a month and a half to two months ago. Since then, it's just been magazines. I haven't really been in a reading mood since for some reason. I'm just kind of bored with books right now. |

I tried reading Star Wars books, but couldn't get into them. The best one I read was Shadows of the Empire. |

I can't get into them if they're after the movies. Even during the original trilogy I find myself struggling to gain interest. I have a book or two set long after the movies where Leia is a Jedi and all that, but I just can not get into them at all. Everything before Episode IV has been enjoyable though. My favorite being one about Darth Bane set LONG before the movies. |

Shadows takes place between Empire and Return.... I'd rather read about new characters in the books than the movie ones... |

For the most part, I agree. I like to read about mostly new characters, but I also like a certain bit of familiarity in the books, too. I particularly enjoy the books during the Clone Wars for this reason. There are a lot of new things happening during that period with a lot of new characters but also a lot of familiar ones, like Obi-Wan and Anakin. I can't wait to further explore the period between Sith and A New Hope. Especially because I prefer reading about the dark side over the light. It's always much more interesting (which is a huge reason why I like Darth Bane: Path of Destruction). |

You'd probably like Shadows of The Empire then if you haven't read it.

Doesn't Shadows Of The Empire takes place between Episode V and VI? I remember some of it because I played the videogame on N64... |

Well, the last book(s) I read were Last Night of the Yankee Dynasty, which talked about the Yankee's late 90's and early 00's success, and how they self-destructed in 2001. It was an awesome read. The other book I read was Heartbreak and Triumph, which is obviously Shawn Michaels' Autobiography. Also a very interesting read. |

Yeah, and supposedly my school was the only one to read it for AP English, and guess what book happened to appear on the English Regent? The moment we looked at the essays and saw a "Johnny Got His Gun" essay, there was one unanimous, "YES!"

A Seperate Peace by John Knowles is a depressing book. It's a good read, but it's kind of messed up. |

Yeah, that book is especially depressing, it would suck if it actually happened between two best friends. But Johnny Got His Gun made me want to read some Dr. Seuss books because it was so depressing. And The Great Gatsby is an amazing book, just made me hate women for a while (not in that way). |
