I found a random newsbit about the possiblity of Dimension making a 4th installment in the Scream movie franchise. I've always been a big fan of the movies, and so my interest in seeing another one is through the roof; however, I'm not sure how they can continue the story after the decisive ending of the last film. Anyway, the quote is a few months old, but it is the first time I've ever heard of any solid progression being made with regards to a Scream 4.
I'd love to see another one. Perhaps someone can finally kill Dewey! |

You do know that it was seven years since the first Terminator that it's sequel was made and that was considered a classic by some? Not to mention that twelve years passed before a third was made and that one turned out to be quite good too. It's more than likely that if Scream 4 turns out to be shitty, it's simply because it would just be another in a long line of shitty, poorly made sequels rehashing the same plot line as the first movie. You know, like Screams 2 & 3. I wonder if Randy will just happen to have another video tape of horror movie cliches laying around in case of a forth set of killings.
