Is there really any need for two PPVs in October or another One Night Stand?

If they don't want to ditch Cyber Sunday, since it's one of the few lower level pay-per-views that are unique, then they could always pass on No Mercy. I doubt many people will be crying themselves to sleep over the loss of No Mercy.

As for One Night Stand, come on.

One Night Stand all matches have stipulations. So what the problem is??

They cant get rid of No Mercy now. Not after this years. It was the site of one of the most historic nights in WWE history. So poop.

What happned to New Years Revolution??????? I like that PPV. Where else are we gonna have Elimination Chamber?? What, just cause Bischoff isn't part of WWE anymore, they don't wanna use his idea anymore. I think they can save the "Extreme Elimination Chamber" idea. Just put some RAW guys in there. They will make it good. When you put useless trash in there, you get a dissapointment. It doesn't help when everyone has to be eliminated fast, cause of time.

No Mercy>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Cyber Sunday

They just need to make Cyber Sunday a 3 hour episode of RAW. Elimination Chamber didn't happen at NYR this year though Jimmy. Also, No Mercy has over 9 years while Cyber Sunday only a little. You can see which one they should take away.

Regardless of whether No Mercy or Cyber Sunday is superior, there isn't any need for two pay-per-views in October (or June).

Maybe they could combine No Mercy and Cyber Sunday? Or maybe they could ditch another pay-per-view such as Vengeance, Judgment Day, or Armageddon in favor of a pay-per-view with the Cyber Sunday gimmick?

WWE's pay-per-view system needs a lot of work. It needs a complete overhaul. They really need to make the viewers think there is a real solid reason they should get the PPV. It should offer something they really can't get on free TV.

With a twelve month program, it could be something like this (though some months are without stipulation):

January - Royal Rumble
Attraction: Royal Rumble match

Febuary - No Way Out
Attraction: Hell In A Cell

March - WrestleMania
Attraction: It's WrestleMania. 'Nuff said. Plus, there's the Money in the Bank match.

April - Backlash
Attraction: WrestleMania rematch.

May - Judgment Day
Attraction: ???

June - Vengeance
Attraction: ???

July - Cyber Sunday (GAB is probably the least liked PPV anyway)
Attraction: The audience votes for matches/competitors/stipulations.

August - SummerSlam
Attraction: TLC match.

September - Unforgiven
Attraction: ???

October - No Mercy
Attraction: ???

November - Survivor Series
Attraction: Every match is an elimination style match, with the main event being an Elimination Chamber (perfect fit I think).

December - Armageddon
Attraction: ???

Perhaps those months without a re-occuring stipulation could be regular PPVs without anything set in stone. They could be the Class "B" PPVs; the PPVs that are second class.

I personally think they would be better off going with a six PPVs a year format (one every two months) because it would give them more time to make feuds mean something and make the pay-offs much more important and bigger. But at least the above way would help to make the PPVs mean more than they currently do.

Cyber Sunday=should be a 3 hour RAW. I care for those PPV names. Their so awesome. You also gotta understand that the PPVs besides the big 4 are basically today's versions of "In Your House" PPVs. Cause WWE used to have IYH PPVs when one of their big 4 weren't on. So they need PPVs every month. I'll agree with you onnot having 2 PPVs in the same month.

But ONS is only there for Extreme Rules, but Vengeance is where the storyline progression is supposed to go. This year Vengeance was "Night Of Champions" but I think that tag line is better suited for a PPV named "Great american bash" The name "Vengeance" just doesn't click with the "Night Of Champions" thing.

GAB... I don't know why WWE decided to bring back a PPV that once was held by NWA and WCW...

Yea, you forgot Night Of Champions and All Stipulated matches.

Cyber Sunday just seems like a throw away PPV, every year. They don't plan any storyline evolment.

The elimination chamber match would fit better with Survivor Series. Afterall, Survivor Series is supposed to be about elimination matches. Why not have the elimination match in WWE featured?

I like the idea of having a "gimmick" PPV in more or less half the events. I didn't watch, but liked the overall concepts of a Night of Champions or an "Extreme Rules" card. The overall output might have not been great, (okay, I did see Night of Champions a few months back) but if they can work on it, they could bring something lucrative. But people have to remember, that the more PPV's WWE has, the more money they bring in, no matter what. If you look at the buyrates, WrestleMania and Summerslam are usually in the 900,000-1,000,000 and 350-500,000 range respectively, and the other PPV's average 160-250,000 no matter what. So keeping in Pay Per Views is usually good from a business standpoint.

It's nice to see that Survivor Series is going to be in Boston, but I've always hated that PPV with a passion. Depending on how much money I have then, I may wind up going to the event, regardless.

WWE.com is still listing it as Vengeance. Probably the name change takes place next month.

That's a bit of a tame name.

I wonder if it'll have a gimmick? Like, all belts in the company are on the line?

Last year, Vengeance seemed partly like hyping the "Vince is dead" angle rather than a PPV.
