Ok Guys, I have mentioned that I am doing a photography course in which we are doing old skool films and digital, using photoshop, and we had a project for Emotion. Well, I have finished up my art work and would like a rating for it. ![]() Before you comment, I know there is one major problem with cutting and I am well aware of that, but that is not going to matter during the final marking. As well as this, I am supposed to be portraying a sad emotion. Sad because I am stuck in a cartoon motion, with the real world surrounding me. And yes... that is actually me. So please, rate it. |

Fine, I'll give my honest opinion. I actually like it a lot. The graphic itself doesn't look too hard to make, but the whole idea of it is very creative. Nice job.

And you're trying to convey emotion through the photo by doing that? Don't get it, but whatever works for you. |

Yes. It is displaying a sad emotion because I am stuck in a cartoon motion, and the real world is around me, and I want to be in the real world. |

You know, after finally watching it, I do agree about the "Take on Me" idea.

I just hope Luke doesn't get attacked by two racers armed with tools.
Back to the picture, personally, I think the picture's theme of "I feel isolated and I want to be a part of the world around me" would be a lot more effective if there was more life in the picture. Like if you were sitting with a similiar expression, but people were clearly having a good time around you or at least just going about their lives. The contrast would be much more noticeable and the loneliness would be much better represented, I think. |

I am Godzilla, you are Japan.

I don't think you've captured the light very well.. Photography is all about the light. I don't like the effect on your person either.. it's tacky and overused by beginners. A cutout effect would have possibly been more effective.. giving a cell shaded/cartoon feel to it. I can see the idea you were going for.. and I don't think you will get very bad marks for it, as it's mostly about the idea in cases like this. |

My dad took the photo... that is why the light is crappy... and my Teacher said I had been watching too many AHA vids, which I laughed at, but another Art teacher was impressed, so I am pleased. |
