WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that Daniel Puder has signed a contract with ROH (Ring of Honor).

The former WWE star is expected to start with ROH at the December 29, 2007 show in New York City. He's also scheduled to appear on the December 30, 2007 show in New York City as well.

It'll be interesting to see how much of a push Daniel Puder receives there. Ring of Honor head writer Gabe Sapolsky has close ties to former ECW owner Paul Heyman. It's not secret that Paul Heyman was a big fan of Daniel Puder while they both were on the Smackdown brand.

For those who don't know, Puder is currently undefeated in his MMA career. As far as his wrestling career goes, the last time he made an appearance wrestling-wise was at the Royal Rumble and he sucked. :-/

He was supposed to suck then. If I remember correctly, his whole RR outing consisted of Benoit, Eddie and Hardcore Holly chopping and beating him to death, a.k.a. the "veterans" beating up the "youngster."

I could've sworn I heard him trash wrestling after leaving the 'E.

Maybe I'm just remembering a Brock wrestling trashing session and incorrectly remembering it as Puder?

Does anyone remember when he challenged Angle to an MMA match?

I remember the same. But I guess that is the "cool" thing for an ex-wrestler to do when they try to join a "real" sport. They got to establish their street cred, yo.

WWE Tough Enough 4 champion Daniel Puder recently tried out for the new American Gladiators television show, but failed to make the cut.

He failed to make the cut for the American Gladiators? Are you kidding me?

I doubt it's much different than the original: bodybuilders as the gladiators and XTREME soccer moms as the guests.

Puder doesn't strike me as a Gladiator type. If anything I see him as an MMA guy or a RoH guy. Not so much of a stretch for me.
