Eh, I'm pissed off about school as well, but probably for a different reason. I took another internet test last night for AP Euro, and got a respectable 77.5% as a score. What my teacher does is take 1/4 of the questions you got wrong and deducts that from the overall score. So say out of 40 questions, you got 32 right, 4 wrong, and skipped 4. 4/4 is obviously 1, so then one answer is deducted from the test, making it a 31. So for me, I got 31 right, got 5 wrong, and skipped 4. So that becomes 5/4, or something like 1.25. So even if he rounds that to 2, I still would have 29 right, or a 72.5. Instead, for no reason, I got a 68 on the test. I even had a friend who is ranked 10 in my whole school check that out for me, and he said that the only way I could have lost that many points was if I misread the original score in the first place, something I did not do. So I kind of feel cheated at this point, even if it's only a few points, since only like 5 people overall got above a 70, and I should have been in that group. |
