It's a fabulous new day, yes it is!
I know shows like Psych, Smallville and House M.D. are awesome based on the few episodes I saw. But to get me into the bandwagon, I'd have to follow a show mostly from the beginning...

I don't reply in welcoming threads or congratulatory threads except on rare occasions.

And those rare occasions aren't because I may like the person better than someone who I didn't congratulate or welcome or whatever, but rather because I just randomly felt like it at the time.

It's just too repetitive and boring so I don't bother usually.

I have a compulsion to try new foods. If I see something on a menu that I've never tried, I have to try it. I find good new foods this way, but also throw away a lot of good money on food I end up not liking.

If I had the money to do it, I'd probably walk away from my current life and start over somewhere completely random.

Ditto.

I'd really only miss one person but things are always flip-flopping with her, so I'll probably have her out of my life again anyway. :(

Me either. I have ridden every one that I have been able to once, to say I rode it, but don't care to do it again. I guess it's the fact that I am scared of heights to some degree.

Official D-Fact: I love roller coasters. If it was up to me, I would go to a place like Six Flags every weekend, as well as take weekly trips during the summer to every major amusement park so I could ride all the major roller coasters.

Me too. For some reason, I think Korean women look the best, but no attractive Asian woman looks bad.

Heights don't bother me unless I'm in a car. If I'm in a car going along a cliff, I'm fucking terrified even if I'm not showing it. But if I'm on foot? It doesn't bother me at all.

Actually, heights kind of relax me. I was someone who tried climbing to the highest points in trees and climbing onto rooftops as a kid. The world is just so much more relaxing and safe to me when up high, I think.

My fear is only when I'm like standing on the edge of something or walking across something like a laying log across a deep crevasse or something. If I were on top of a tall building and looking down, I really wouldn't have a problem. It's the possibility of falling that gets me I guess.

Official D-Fact: Even though I've been doing this overnight job for over 10 months now, for some reason I still can't get used to the transition from school/normal sleep mode to overnight mode. Out of 35 or 40 Thursdays I have worked like this, I can't say that I've actually felt good physically for more than 10 of them.

 Actually, it's far from that.

It's kind of hard to explain, but food is frustrating. Like how healthy food is expensive, a pain to make dishes out of, and usually not as satisfying in flavor as unhealthy food.

I manage to steer clear from most of the unhealthy stuff well enough (definitely more than most people I see :yuck: ), but once in awhile I have a moment of weakness and straight up binge on junk. Then I resume my near junk food abstinence. The junk food is just too tempting to completely stay away from forever.

Pretty much. It doesn't help with practically all fast food places adding some sort of value/dollar menu while the quality food seems to get more expensive.

I am a big LA Dodgers fan. When I used to work for a casino, I worked the cashier cage. That's where people come to change in their chips or winnings for cash, get money off credit cards etc. So, on night, Vin Scully walked up to my window and cashed in some winnings. He was in town for an exhibition game or some such. The Memphis Red birds are the Cardinal Triple A team. The bad part? I was not allowed to really say anything or get an autograph or anything. That's part of the job. I just make polite conversation and make the change. Never saw him again. He had a big ass ring on his finger that was either a World series ring or HOF type ring or something of that nature. Still irritates me to this day.

Oh. My. God. Man, I would have risked my job to talk to him if the job didn't pay well. There are only few people in my opinion that you would do so to talk to, and he would be one of them. I'd probably quit my job right now if it meant talking to Mariano Rivera, but I wouldn't actually have to because I'd be allowed to. Actually one time a popular Jets defensive end from the 80's, Mark Gastineau, came into my store and we had a great discussion. Not only that, but I played frisbee with the guy. Which goes into...

Official D-Fact: If I ever wrote an autobiography about all of the happenings during my working overnights, I would probably name it "Playing Frisbee with Mark Gastineau: The Overnight Story." Seriously, not many people have the opportunity to have a moment like that with a sports star.

I actually saw a few famous people in the casino. A lot of wrestlers. Jim Neidhart was the funniest because he was so damn loud.

Oh and I saw a tag on a car today that said "DMAN 26". I thought "what the hell is Whosey doing in Mississippi?"
