Not just to be single on a couple's holiday, but to be a romantic and see so many people put so little effort into celebrating. It seems most celebrate for the same reasons they celebrate most other holidays - habit/it's expected of them. A bonus fact: I really don't like holidays. They're so fake and over-commercialized.

There's an overwhelmingly positive side to me, though it's not as obvious...or used as much (for a reason). When I say overwhelmingly positive, I mean it. It's to the extremes of "maybe I'll just give away everything I own and dedicate my life to good will" type of positive. And yet at the same time I have an undeniably negative and pessimistic side that wants the complete opposite. I like to look at my two sides as one being the ideal me going for an ideal world (positive) and the one being the realistic me living in an ugly world (negative). There really is no middle ground any more for me.

The strike sounds like it sucked for those that did, but it didn't mean shit for me other than getting to see Conan with a beard on the only episode I've watched of his show in over a year. Educational television and no television for the win!

Posts: 18,908 Group: Members Member #29 Joined: January 19, 2006	Fact: I have SmackDown on in the background (only due to a total lack of anything to watch and someone I know still wanting me to record this show for some reason) and I now believe that the Michael Cole/Coach commentating team may be the worst in recent WWE history. Coach can be decent if he has a nice color to work with (like with Raven or with Al Snow), but Cole isn't a color. A play-by-play/play-by-play team doesn't work in sports entertainment especially when both have absolutely no personality. Seriously, I heard more personality on episodes of Jakked when Coach was working with Marc Lloyd.

But on a different note, I just have to say that I love DVD's. Not just because I've been able to watch TV shows and movies that I love (or used to love) but now because I'm able to connect with shows I haven't previously gotten into. Rescue Me, 30 Rock and Arrested Development are examples. Before the end of last year, I didn't watch any of those shows, but since then, both the former one and the latter one have become two of my favorite shows.
