The NWA Wrestling ShowCase made it's debut on the Colours TV Network this past Wednesday night. It can be seen there every week at 9:00 PM Eastern. Colours TV is on Dish Network channel 9407. You can also watch NWA Wrestling ShowCase online via nwawrestling.com/main. NOW for the recap of this week's show!

The show opens with NWA World Champion "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce cutting a short, 30 second promo putting over the NWA and the NWA Wresting ShowCase on the Colours Network. Then we go to commercial. We come back from commercial and our hosts David Marquez and Rob Conway welcome us to the show as they're standing outside in downtown Las Vegas! David Marquez puts over Rob Conway by showing photos of him from the WWE and even one of his action figures. Action figures?? Now it's time for some wrestling! Our commentators are Kris Kloss & Todd Kennelly. The first match of the night is Hidaka vs. TJ Perkins. This is a fast Paced match with a mix of mat wrestling, submission holds and high-flying stuff. Perkins wins with a reverse roll-up into a real nice bridge! After the match The Real American Heroes (Karl Anderson & Joey Ryan) come to the the ring and attack Perkins! Out comes Los Luchas to make the save, but then NWA World Champion Adam Pearce comes out and clears the ring. Good opening match!

The second match of the night is a flag match: The Real American Heroes vs. Los Luchas. A pretty fun match the two teams seem to work well with each other and the announcers do a good job letting everyone know what a big feud these two teams have with each other. Lots of power moves and high-flying moves as the match goes back and forth at one point the Real American Heroes have their tights pulled down by Los Luchas and it's NOT PRETTY!! The match ends when Adam Pearce runs in and hits both members of Los Luchas with the Mexican flag. He puts Real American Hero member Karl Anderson on top of one of the members of Los Luhcas for the 1-2-3. Pretty good match but now I'm really sick of seeing Adam Pearce! (EDITOR'S NOTE: Welcome to the club Kyle, we're all sick of Pearce!) Next we go to a short interview with legendary NWA announcer Bob Caudle.

The third match of the night is Ricky Vega vs. Cassidy O'Brien. SQUASH MATCH! This one was over before it got started as Vega wins with a face first Samoan drop! Vega comes off looking like a badass and seemed to be over with the crowd as well.

The last match of the night is a lucha tag match featuring Hijo Del Santo & Rey Mysterio Sr. vs. Blue Demon Jr. & Psicosis. If you are a big lucha fan then this match is for you, but if not then probably not so much. This match was kind of slow paced match but had some nice spots here and there. Blue Demon kicks Santo in the balls (EDITOR'S NOTE: EL FOUL~!) to get the win.

Overall it was a pretty good first show, nothing too special, but still it was nice to see something besides WWE and TNA on TV! Anyway I'll see you next time for my recap of the next NWA Wrestling ShowCase!

Decent show, but it seemed like the old PWI TV report show that used to come on more than an NWA show. It's going to be hard to do storylines etc in this format. I'm taking a wait and see approach.
