Typical WWE mark come-back. Lame.
Women's wrestling, when treated as actual wrestling segments and not T & A segments, is a draw. It's not a main event draw, no, but it does draw. WWE has conditioned fans to believe that women's wrestling isn't important :quote:, which is why their attempts to make an actual wrestling division never work. Therefore, they have to resort to putting pretty girls in skimpy clothes in the ring. Now, there's nothing wrong with having pretty girls in skimpy clothing in the ring. Just don't call it for what it is

I didn't think it was lame. Don't use TNA ratings when trying to prove something. Because it's virtually not watched. WWE's skimpy clothes divas draw more ratings then TNA's ugly wrestlers. See Live Sex Show for proof. |

Lookie, another lame and predictable reply from a WWE mark. "dat cumpiny dont git as much ratings as WWE so no1 watches!1!~!!~!". Using TNA's rating is a perfectly valid example of how properly booked women's wrestling does draw an audience. Rounding figures to easily show an accurate 20% audience fluctuation...If you have a million people watching a show on a regular basis, and 200,000 more people tune in to see a women's wrestling match, then tune back out when the match is over, and this pattern continues each and ever week, then that's validation. Ignoring these statistics just because TNA isn't as popular as WWE doesn't make the statistics and figures any less true, nor does it disprove the fact that a properly booked women's division can and does have influence over ratings. But seeing as how you are too caught up in your own ignorance to accept TNA's figures as validation, I'll even throw a WWE comparison out for you. You very rarely ever see any kind of reports about WWE's women division affecting WWE's ratings. They don't go up or down by any reasonable margin. However, when WWE did treat their women's division as an actual wrestling division, you did hear about the ratings increase during women wrestling segments. Not only that, but WWE even booked a real women's wrestling match (Lita vs Trish) as the Raw main event during the height of the women's wrestling popularity. The actual, factual wrestling is gone, and suddenly ratings are no longer affected by women segments. And the bad thing is, WWE has women wrestlers that are pretty. Beth Phoenix, Mickie James, Victoria, Jillian Hall...these girls can wrestle and are attractive (well, except for Jillian). It's WWE's own stupidity that stops them from booking these girls and the women's division in a respectable manner. |

Probably the fact that he has the mind of an 8 year old. I'm sure Ashley is a sweet woman, but she doesn't belong in a ring when she's a clear danger to herself, if that's the case at all. Look at how often she wrestles and tell me that the injuries are not from pure carelessness on her part. Nobody can be that ignorant. |

I have a question for you Falkon: why are you such a big Ashley fan? I'm just honestly curious. I'm assuming a huge part is because of the appearance since that's usually the case. Many of the women in wrestling I'm a fan of I appreciate on a physical level, too, but does it go deeper? I can't see it being anything what she does in the ring because...well, she doesn't do anything in the ring except get injured. |

and other along those lines, while even though they can wrestle, it's really not needed because no one cares.
